Okay so I'm Sherlock Holmes. The Holmes after the story The Seven Precent solution which is when he becomes drug free. The story is not by Sir Aurthur Connan Doyle though. It's a good book.
So should we have a forum and how many characters are we controling a piece: Mycroft, Lestrade, Iren Addler (If she comes in I call playing her), ect...
So where do we begin? Also who chooses the case first?

This was your idea, so you can pick.

Also, the third part of that sci fi trilogy hasn't come out yet so next chance I get I'm going to raid the library for books.

I suppose I could put the charathers on a master list on the first post.

That would be helpful yes. Also is it before or after Watson is married for the second time? Umm there are so many good ones. It's hard to choose but let's start out like this:

Sherlock Holmes sits in his chair by the fire playing his violin when Mrs. Hudson (The landlady) knocks on the door. With a bit of annoyance he puts down his violin and goes to open the door, "Mrs. Hudson what can I do for you?"
"I just found this under my door," Mrs. Hudson hands him an envelope addressed to both himself and Dr. Watson, "I think someone made a small mistake because I saw a child running from the door quiet quickly. From what I saw I'd say he was fightened."
Sherlock thanks Mrs. Hudson before going over to Dr. Watson, "Watson it seems we have a new case."
He uses his pen opener to open the letter and reads the letter aloud, "Meet me by Big Ben at 10:35. Urgent. Well Watson what do you think should we go?"

(I dunno, after.)

John idly glanced up from his newspaper, then set it aside and leaned forward slightly to get a better look at the note. After another second of skimming over the text, he turned his attention back to Sherlock. "You'll go with or without me." He remarked, standing up with a short grunt. "Give me a minute,"

Sherlock Holmes smiles kindly, "Good old Watson. Come we have time before the designated time but would you like to try to pratice your deductive skills?"
The note had a few gramatical errors and a bad spelling error on Ben whoever wrote it spelled it Benn. From the time on the paper the five looked like an eight and generally hard to decifer. The paper itself was stained on one side by ink and looked a bit like newspaper. One other noticable thing was the return adress being that there was none.
"Tell me what do you think?"

John glanced over his shoulder, as he was already making his way across the room. "No signature. They wanted to stay anonymous for whatever reason." He responded. Nothing his partner in crime (heh.) couldn't figure out, he knew, but near the extent of what John himself could. He paused, then repeated, "Give me a minute,"

Sherlock paciently waits for Watson to deduce what he can from the note, "Anything else? Also how would you feel about a walk around the block before we go to dinner?"
He hoped that Mrs. Hudson could tell him which direction that the child was running when she saw the child leave. Maybe then he could find a clue which would be useful.

John let out a short sigh. "Why not?" He eyed the note for another long few seconds. "....Probably written in a hurry. Spilled ink, obviouisly didn't care about spelling or.... ledgibility."

Sherlock raises an eyebrow, "Assumptions, Watson are a very dangerous thing. Poor spelling could be from poor schooling or other reasons such as a foriegner who does not know the language very well. The hurry yes judging by what Mrs. Hudson told us and by the ink spill. Now should we be on our way? Would you like to choose where we dine as well?"
Sherlock glances out the window noting a the bustling city streets then says quietly, "Or maybe not what we think at all."
