Alright, here it is! Figured we could say winter break so they've started the school year!
My Characters:
Isobel "Izzy" Brighton. 17 years old. She's a party girl who is also Cheerleading captain. Izzy's a part of the friend group from the private school. She comes from a wealthy family and acts spoiled, but is actually pretty lonely because her parents are always working. She's full of energy and knows how to charm her way out of any situation. It's her first time camping, and she doesn't even know how to set up a tent...
Rylan Brighton. 18 years old. Izzy's cousin, used to attend the private school but joined the public school for a reason no one really knows. Kind of a loner, likes spending more time with his motorcycle and his books than with people. He's only on this trip because his Aunt and Uncle wanted him to make sure Izzy doesn't get into trouble.
Taylor Woods. 16 years old. New to the public school this year, and shocked people by joining the football team. She's a fast runner, which is why she makes a surprisingly good linebacker. She hates when people tell her she looks "too pretty" to be playing sports. She's snarky and good with comebacks, but that also means she argues a lot.

Jackson Carter is 18. Jackson displays an air of indifference and toughness to most who don't know him. He knows how to fight. However, Jack does not try to go out to cause trouble and it seems now that he avoids picking fights. Five years earlier, Jack was sent to jail as an eleven-year-old for the murder of his mother's abusive boyfriend, Ryan. According to Jack, Ryan was beating his mother every night and it had gotten to the point where Jack snapped and killed him with a candlestick.
Oliver Nelson is 17. He's a social outcast. He's a massive introvert, not a fan of any social interaction. However, once you get to know him, he comes out of his shell a little. And he knows quite a bit about a lot of things. He lives on his own, and he has since he had started high school. His dad left a long time ago and his mom...well, let's just say she's not the best parent, which is why he left.
Ian Walker is 17. He has a scar on his eyebrow, and there's a piece of it that never grew back for reasons he doesn't like to talk about. Whenever he has the opportunity to, Ian is often seen cracking jokes to lighten up the mood of those around him. This appears to be a natural talent of his, but, at times, Ian also uses this ability to redirect the attention of others onto something else when moments get too tense or because he has another goal in mind altogether. He has also been known to make dirty references. Ian is also quite cocky and self-assured. He constantly reminds others how amazing he is and how good he looks. Although at times he is seen doubt himself, his choices, or his actions, most of the time he is confident and haughty. These particular traits seem to annoy those around him, to some extent.
Victoria Nelson is 16. She's Oliver's younger sister and let's get one thing straight. If she doesn't get friends who are tougher than her, she's bound to get picked on. She's very shy, kind of weak unless she absolutely needs to stand up for herself. She only speaks to people she trusts and other than that doesn't speak at all.

((I'm just gonna start it with them arriving at the camping grounds!!))
Izzy let out a huff of irritation as her eyes scanned the campsite. It was a large space, that's for sure, but her friend group had been told by the park workers that someone else was sharing a nearby area. Her disappointment had only heightened once she and her friends realized that the other group was a bunch of kids from their rival school. She'd almost wanted to leave, but her best friend had insisted that giving up the camping space would mean a boring winter break. That was why she was trying to carry all her camping equipment by taking it out of her shiny convertible- the car a gift from her parents when she turned sixteen. Unfortunately, the blonde seemed to be having trouble carrying things.
"Someone help..." She whined.
Her cousin, Rylan, who was leaning against the car, shrugged and walked off to observe their surroundings instead. He'd already sat for an hour and heard Izzy complain on the car ride there, and wasn't about to stick around for any longer.
On the other side of the campground, Taylor was setting up her tent. She seemed to be doing fine on her own. She rolled her eyes at the kids on the campground seemed to be having trouble with their own tents, but after a moment raised her voice. "Anyone need help?"

Oliver and Vicky were setting up their tents, not having too much trouble. Oliver--to no one's surprise--had brought books and began taking them from the car to his tent. Victoria, on the other hand, was struggling a little trying to get hers to stay up.
Ian didn't even bother setting up his tent, planning on sharing one with the first girl that fell for him. Yeah. He's like that. So basically, he was spending more time talking than anything else.
Jack had finished setting up his tent ages ago, and he had decided to go wandering.

Taylor raised a brow as she spotted one of the other girls on the campsite trying to keep the tent from collapsing. With a small chuckle, she jogged over to where the siblings were. "Having some trouble there?" She asked Vicky, a friendly smile on her face. For a second she glanced at Oliver, about to ask why he wasn't helping her out, but he seemed focused on his books. She shrugged and introduced herself. "I'm Taylor."
"Hey!" Izzy snapped her fingers at Ian, since he seemed to be one of the less busy people around. "Help me with my tent?" As an afterthought and at the realization that he was a stranger, she added, "Please?"
Rylan was staring up at the tress, hands in his pockets. He startled slightly as he heard Jack walking nearby, but turned and raised his hand in an awkward wave. "Uh, hey."

She only nodded, bowing her head a little so that her hair would cover most of her face. Her eyes suddenly seemed glued to the ground as well, refusing to look up. And yes, Oliver was too busy with his books at the moment to notice his sister was struggling.
Ian raised his eyebrows at her, coming over. "I can already tell that even if I do, I'm not going to get much, if anything in return," he said, looking down at her
Jack turned to see Rylan. "Hey." Was all he said.

Taylor took the nod as a cue to start observing how the tent was set up. She eyed the top tent loop, then made sure it was bent properly. After a moment she stepped back, nodding. "Everything looks good-" she turned back to face the girl, and that was when she noticed that she looked kind of nervous. She was confused, and definitely hadn't realized the girl was shy. "Uh, everything alright?"
Izzy's mouth dropped open at his reply, her face turning pink at once. She struggled to find a response to the insinuation, finally speaking after a couple seconds of stunned silence. All she could come up with was, "I'm sorry, what's that supposed to mean?"
"What's up?" Rylan asked the other boy. "You with the other group in that camping space?" He nodded over his shoulder.

She only nodded again, still refusing to look at Taylor. She would've said 'thank you' but didn't have the guts just yet.
"Exactly what I said. I'm obviously not going to get anything in return if I help you," he repeated. "Also, based on how red your face is, your imagination is running wild."
"Yeup. I am," he said, crossing his arms

Her brows furrowed with confusion. "Uh, you don't.. talk?" It was a question filled with curiosity, and she observed the other girl for a moment. "Just don't like to?"
Izzy let out an irritated huff, arms crossed over her chest. "Listen here, wise guy. I just need help setting up the tent. You could try to, I don't know, be nice and just help me out?"
"And still, you're wandering away from the group?" Rylan replied with a chuckle. "Me too. My crazy cousin is probably throwing a fit."

Vicky only shrugged, folding her arms across her chest, kind of shrinking in on herself, not replying. She, however, was worse than her brother. He would at least talk to people.
"Do I look like the kind of person that would do that? I mean, come on, now," Ian replied, smirking now, on the verge of laughing.
"Was she the one that was yelling out for help?" He asked, smiling a little now. "I swear, most of the people back at camp are such amateurs."
