I used a Magical Pie on my Sylvorpa, Siraelle, and in the description of the item it says that it will cause the pet to instantly gain 144 points (6 days) of maturity. The cooldown counter is there, but it still shows it being 3 days old and hasn't gotten any older. Clearly, it hasn't worked, and some people said it was probably because Siraelle was my first pet, but that's not outlined anywhere in the Magical Pie rules. It says "a pet," not "all pets except your first pet." Would that be why it didn't work? If that is why, as a suggestion, that definitely needs to be outline in bold print all throughout the site for users just starting out. Nowhere in the tutorial did it say I couldn't use philters on my pet, and if it's hidden away in an FAQ somewhere, it needs to have attention brought to it. I didn't use the FAQs because the tutorials did a good job of leading me through the site (which is rare for a site to do, so that's a kudos to Sylestia).

Magic pies work on the pet's maturity level; not its physical age. You cannot affect how long something has been in existence but you can change how quickly it grows/matures... To see a pets Maturity level you can right-click the pet->click on "Copy img url" or "Copy Image Location"->Paste in the url bar-> look at the very end of the url that says &maturity=xxx


Egg: &maturity=0 - 72
Hatchling: &maturity=73 - 215
Adolescent: &maturity=216 - 647
Adult: &maturity=648



Edit: I looked at your pet's maturity, it should only have around 288 maturity points [give or take one or two]; he has 433 points. The pie worked on him.

I came here looking for an answer to the same problem. If I am to understand correctly, they will still reach adulthood earlier than usual, but their age won't be affected?

Okay, I thought it was my internet or something but I used one on my Griffi Peaches and she stayed at 8 days old ( the day she became an adolescent) It might just be that griffies are new and they have some bugs

If you check the URL, the "Maturity" Will have changed. Magical pies do not effect the displayed "Age"
