I have a lesser pet dye for 20,000 (20 treasure: 1 scale ratio)

Try putting the pet dye on the trade broker~ you should have a lot more luck with selling it then in the item marketplace. (The best time to sell items in the item marketplace is during festivals) I've seen all the LPD's at 50k be bough out already between yesterday and today.
If you go into your inventory, you can select the LPD and select the "Broker Item" option. From there, you'll get a breakdown of Current listings and the sales in the past 30 days. The lowest price on the broker right now is 63k~ the average sale price over the last 30 days for has been 57k. Then it just comes down to waiting a little while until it's bought out.
The trade broker takes a small fee from being sold on the broker but it's worth it for the ease of sale~
