Within the Kingdom of Fae lies many different species. With those species come the gods; and with those gods come legendary relics.

Ones species determines their status within the Kingdom, to varying levels of acceptance to those who live in this world. Most of these prejudices come directly from how the gods before them lived, or more aptly, the stories told by those who won the Great Battle. The current King, Rike, a winged, has made quite a few.. Controversial choices. The way the revolt planned against him turns out? All depends upon you, dear players.

The Gods:
The gods all hold some form of magic, their species following suit with a genetic nack for their form of magic, though some standards have been dropped, magic has been shared between species and can be learned by anyone with a proper teacher, some species essentially going without magic entirely and finding it shameful to practice. Every few years, gods will choose a representative or two, most of the time of their own species, and pass down a Relic to try and make their story right.

Orikal; the god of the wingeds, a species akin to angels. He takes the role of a prime god, their King, though most followers of Malikai, and Malikai himself, find him to be tyrannical and unjust. He and the wingeds, though the following have nearly abandoned all practice of magic, have the power to prophecy the future. He passes down the Lance of Faith and Gauntlets of Light, Lance coming during the Great Battle and the gauntlets before.

Malakai; the god of all sirens, a mermaid-like species that used to bear wings. He was originally beloved by the other gods for his talents in song and dance, originally revered as a sort of party god. After Orikals turn for the worst, the winged god planning to execute a large group of wingeds worshipping Malakai, he took up arms against Orikal. After he was defeated, he took the punishment for all of the dissenting gods instead of letting others be hurt or outcast from his own actions. His wings were burnt off, all following sirens born with wings being executed for the trait until none remained, and he was cursed to forever live only inside of his temples, appearing as a ghost to the few followers braving the task of fixing his forsaken temples. Sirens were originally blessed with control over water and air, but the air trait seemed to die with the last winged siren. He passes down Kingsbane and Nokten, Kingsbane a sword forged in fury during the war to try and defeat Orikal, and Nokten, a sword made beforehand with Orikals blessing placed upon it, letting its holder gaze into the future while staring into its blade.

Wyvern; the god of the Draconids, humanoids with dragon wings and horns. He normally takes his role as Orikals best friend and confidant, but some legends place him as Malakais right hand man. At this point, nobody knows the truth other than the gods themselves, and gods dont tell normal mortals the secrets they hold and held. Draconids held the power to control flames, though most have abandoned magic. Wyverns relic is Everburn, a bow destined to, well, ever burn, its arrows returning to their weilders quiver and the bow being said to burn with its wielder's rage (or loyalty, in some interpretations).

Nadine; the goddess of centaurs, humans, and nagas. Generally cherished as the goddess of peace, she took the side of Malakai during the Great Battle, seeing the error in Orikals ways. She escaped punishment due to Malakais sacrifice, but has never forgotten the debt she owes both of the gods, most centaurs becoming guards and protectors to honor their goddess. Her people all express magical talent, specifically with nature and life related magic. Her relics are many, and her representatives chosen commonly. The Great Shield, Thornstaff, the Reap's Scythe, and the Roses Bow are all passed down through her judgement.

Galatea; the goddess of galatians, humanoid creatures with features related to day and night, being able to choose traits from other species for themselves but always having these features be marked by patterns of the sky. They are extremely rare, but occasionally blessed by Orikal to have intense magical insight to the future. Galatea took Orikals side during the war, earning his favor. She was, essentially, the child of the sun and the moon, and all of her people are in-tune to the times of day. The extremely powerful ones, either day or night galatians, are blind during the time of day they are not blessed with the slight control over. Day galatians have control over light and sometimes prophecy, with the vise versa for night galatians and shadow. Her relics are the stars themselves, forming weapons out of miniature constellations for those with her guidance and blessing.

Galatians- though rare, they tend to control most inner workings of the Kingdom during their optimal times. They can choose to display features from other species, though these features are always covered in sky related patterns based on the specific galatians prime time of day. In default, they are humans with elegant horns, and either deep black or pure white eyes. Many dress extremely high-class, and those with relics will show them off publicly though not many are chosen by Galatea.

Wingeds- high nobles with wings, many patterns of wings are based upon local birds. Most are at least dukes, if not proper royalty. Though, some are rebellious, on the side of those deemed below them.

Draconids- Humanoids with horns and dragon-like wings, most are high-class, some dukes, and some on the lower end are simply guards of the royal family.

Centaurs- Humanoids with horse, bull, deer, sheep, ect. lower halves, most become knights and keepers of peace.

Humans- fully human, obviously. The absolute mid-tier, most able to choose their own destiny and loyalties instead of having to rebel about what is expected of them.

Nagas- Humanoids with lower halves of a snake, and small patches of scales around their bodies, along with snake-like eyes, tongues, and general demeanor. They arent well trusted among most, most choosing to keep to themselves in the forests of Fae.

Chimeras- half-breeds of multiple species, deemed impure blood by more traditional folks. Many are servants or hired help around the Kingdom, though some are raised by influential parents to be one with the nobility.

Sirens- the lowest species, wild sirens live in pods within the seas facing hunting by both specific siren-catchers and fishermen looking to make quick money. Kingdom sirens, called Domes sirens by those in the wild, face lives as servants or street urchins, but are becoming increasingly rare. Sirens have three forms, mostly humanoid (with only earfins, and gills on the neck and waist.) reef-wader (The stereotypical merperson with multiple sets of gills), and hunter (an incredibly dangerous form meant for hunting with sharp fangs and talons, along with full tails and fins). Many are also bioluminescent. It is rumored that a youngling born with Malakais blessing will still have wings, but thus far, there is no (recorded) proof of this happening.

Relics and Gods
Relics are given by the gods who control them; anybody to simply rush in and grab a relic found will be burned until they are blessed by the god holding that relic. Normally, a person will specifically pray to one or two gods solely, based on both their species and wants for the world surrounding them.

The Kingdom
The Kingdom of Fae is led by King Rike, who has sworn off all connection to outside influences, cutting off all trades, focusing on full control over the Kingdom he has power over. Of course, there are groups within the shadows rising against this isolation of their Kingdom, planning a total uprising. Many nobility are on either side, helping the revolutionaries in secret or keeping a tight grip on their waitstaff to be sure that none of them have even thought of running off to join The Pariahs, the named main group of revolutionaries. Some, including Rike, believe that outside the kingdom lay those shrouded in darkness, hoping to steal the light within the kingdom. Those on the side of The Pariahs are across all species, across all classes, the exact same with those believing the outside to be dangerous. But, exactly... Whose side are you on?

Within the kingdom are these main towns, the starting points:
Kor, the capital, filled with both nobility and those living on the streets, with temples for Orikal, Wyvern, Galatea, and Malakai; though Malakais temple has fallen into total disrepair.
Neski, the most peaceful town in the kingdom. Features temples for every god/goddess. Named for Nadine.
Vernwood, a small village with a few large mansions, along with a temple of Malakai and Wyvern, Malakais long burnt down, though it still sits in the countryside, nearly completely overtaken by wilderness.
