Theyre points you earn by doing things like battling and missions. There isnt a whole lot to use them for right now, except buy some new styles & outfit slots in the Wardrobe and additional slots for Party presets. More things, including a shop to spend them in, will be added eventually, but for now, all the things I listed above are what you can use them for.
