Does inbreeding happen on this website (ie, are a pet's lineage kept on record or something)? Are there any consequences for an inbred baby?

Charix, you cannot breed parents to offspring or brothers to sisters, but you can breed uncle-niece, or grandparent to grandchild. Nothing happens to the pets if you breed family members.

What if the pets in question only share the same father (or mother) (a.k.a. are half siblings)

They can't breed still. as long as thye share one parent, they re considered siblings and will not breed.
