My Hero Academia, or otherwise known as MHA, Boku No Hero Academia, or BNHA

This is an AU version, so you don't need to have watched the anime to understand.

here is a basic explanation of this:
You live in a world where what used to be extraordinary has become the ordinary, a real-life comic book if you will. years ago special abilities called 'Quirks' began popping up around the globe, whether it was enhanced senses or even breathing fire. while this was happening, the government was having trouble putting down laws that include these newfound abilities, and so; heroes started emerging to fight back against the villains who'd begun abusing their newfound power. Eventually, these heroes were able to instate officially, schools were even built to train young hero wannabes for their highschool years, granted they also were taught regular high school education.
Everyone will be in 1-A because it would be too much to keep up with if we had as many different classes as the actual anime. It's also the hardest class on the hero course to get into.

Rules

-Don't give your character an overpowered quirk, each quirk needs at least two cons

- If you want to be a villain, then I'll make another thread for the villains to make plans and whatnot if they want to make an attack, not necessarily a rule but just putting that out there, villains-in-training may also attend UA secretly, for drama purposes. and because I get bored easily.

-If you are a pro hero then you will likely be teaching at UA [if not then you'll still turn up freqently] if you are then I'll explain to you what ya gotta do or I can make a secondary character for lessons and you'll help them with hero training

-Narrators word is the law, if I haven't mentioned someone or you haven't met them you in the RP/RPG, then you do not know them yet

- you'll be starting as first years, going to year four, I understand in the anime/manga they only go to year three, but I felt that might confuse some people. my character will be in your class, his being there will not affect you terribly, but he's got a purpose. I guess.

-Semi literate or literate roleplay only, it's strenuous to respond to one-liners

-If you change your user and don't notify me that'll just make things more arduous than they have to be.

You won't have to go through the entrance exams, but your scores will be spoken about.

sorry if this is a lot of writing, I promise I'm a lot more laid back than this =^=

Personality: He hates being wrong or losing [depending on the context he can get as bad as Bakugo], but hes open to learning how to fix his mistake and do better once he's calmed down. Souta is very easily excited and is always looking for something to do.

Backstory: Even though he's part Russian, he's never been but he did learn the language from his mother and switches to that when panicking. Soutas from a rich family in Japan, he got into UA based on recommendations. Being rich, his parents were working often, being pro heroes they had more to do than just save lives[such as public speaking, etc], because of this he had a lot of time by himself and his quirk, once he finally got the sitters his parents would hire of his back that is [just tossing electricity at something random as long as it wouldn't break], so he quickly found ways to have fun with his quirk without making any damage, other than a slight static shock if he lost focus by accident. Kaneko's parents are the pro heroes Electrum and Enerva, both tied for being the number 6 heroes in Japan, naturally, Souta wanted to impress them so it always made him upset when he didn't do something right. Whenever he really wanted to show his parents something as a kid hed try to pick the lock to their office to get there attention which often worked, they'd take a break for a while, but it didn't last too long with villains popping up, and they did have to replace locks every week. Due to his parents having to spend less time with him because of villains, he wanted to become a hero not only to follow in their footsteps but he wanted to take care of as many villains as he could so that no other heroes kid has to spend so little time with their parents as he did.[ :'v such a noble boi] He actually originally wanted to be a doctor, but considering what is parents did he looked into being a hero more and joined UA, figuring he'd help people all the same.

Skilled at: lock picking and close up attacks [attacking close up takes less energy from him, so hes less tired afterward]
Quirk: Energy
Souta can generate energy from his hands, it's harder to control when he is upset
Pros
-If he uses enough raw energy he can use it to make a melee weapon [thus having gloves one his costume so he can hold it for a long period of time]
-He has a band one his costume so he can charge it up with energy for distance attacks or just defense
-he can use most any energy
Cons
-If he's really upset it becomes uncontrollable and he can set off thermal explosions even without meaning to
-if he overuses raw energy[the stronger form] hell get radiation poisoning, though he does have a better tolerance to it because of his quirk he'll form cracks under his eyes and cough blood
-using his quirk drains his own energy so after using it for too long he'll be really tired
-if he's not focused hell send a static shock through his body, requiring him to power off for about five minutes or so to recover and get back to what he needs to do

Fatal Flaw[s]:
-In the heat of battle, he can get overconfident and overuse his quirk
-When he is truly upset he will basically turn into a thermal energy bomb and you'll wanna stay about 20 feet away[maybe more] and it'll hurt him as well [not fatally hurting himself but its enough to injure]
-When he's focused on something like talking or even something small, everything else around him like noise or people will just slip his mind and disappear for that time

Other Info:
He owns a Sun conure bird named Tango, a Shiba Inu named Cinnamon, and a German Shepherd named Collie, Collie is the only female pet =^= but idk why that's important, they're all in his dorm room, so its a crowded room. He also likes to turn on music when he's upset because it calms him down so he doesn't activate his quirk on accident. Souta also gets mildly upset if you mispronounce his name. He'll also make fun of people if he's not sure how to continue the conversation, but he'll make sure you know its a joke. He mostly wants to become a hero so he can impress his parents, seen as they're a lot to live up to, but he also wants people to feel safe when he's in the room. On a totally different note, once he's gone to sleep he won't be waking up fully for an extended period of time until morning. Lazy rat.



I may have made this a bit too long but oh well. I'm often updating this with new information, even though I've had him for a while, I still like to make adjustments every once in a while.

Personality: Bubbly[this is a pun, you'll know why], and generally happy, able to make good of most things but also pretty sociopathic when she wants or needs to be
Backstory: She grew up around villains, but was raised by her grandparents so she's kind to an extent but wants to be a villain just like the people she's known her whole life, she kind-of admires them mainly because she understands their ideals but also because she heard that her father was a strong villain [I have an entire romance story involving her father and mother if you'd like to hear it!]
Ethnicity[I know you didn't add this but I wanted to]: Japanese
Personal Flaws[at least 2-3]: she gets really overexcited which you think wouldn't be a flaw but- she just over-does it, I guess, & she gets distracted by small details more than she probably should- she's really nosy but considering her job-of-sorts I suppose its fitting.
Likes: using her quirk, sugar, pink, she's pretty much the stereotypical girly-girl when it comes to most things
Dislikes: most heroes [some she believes are worthy, following stains ideal I guess],
Skilled at: creating diversions without using her quirk
Quirk: Healing Bubbles!
She can blow large bubbles making them out of the air, she's working on making them more difficult to pop and attacking with them + holding her breath for a long period of time.
-Pros
It's good for putting people in the bubbles to take them from harm's way. if she focuses enough the bubble can also heal them if they have injuries, but when she heals them it'll take stamina from her and depending on the injury it may also give her cuts of her own. if they don't have unhealed injuries it can heal scars, though all healing makes that person really tired healing scars can make them have to sleep for up to 24 hours, she can also inflict damage onto whoever is in the bubble by either not allowing air in or she can make it sharp enough to scratch them. [its a mixture of her parent's quirks according to her grandmother].
-Cons
it's not very good for attacking more than 2-3 people [depending on size] and the bubbles pop when she takes a breath
Fatal Flaw[s]: She's quick to liking people and then stalking them when she becomes attached & it's often people with strong quirked hero wanna-be's [though I likely won't show much of that with my roleplaying until its revealed I'm a villain/villain in training]
