THE HUNGER GAMES


Welcome, people of Sylestia, to the Hunger Games! My name is Blood Diamond, and I will be your host. Do you have what it takes to survive? Time to find out!

Alright, I know there's already a Hunger Games bouncing around, but I want to give this a shot. This will not be using the online generator, it will be randomised occurrences and the result will be decided by me based on the stats & traits of the entered pets.

For example:
The arena floods. All Kelpari & Sylvorpa automatically survive. Pets with wings have a 50% chance of survival, as do pets attuned to the water element. Pets with both have a 75% survival rate. Those that do not fit any of those categories will have their fate decided by Health, Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity & Agility. An Agile pet would climb a tree. The higher the stat, the higher & safer they will be. A Healthy pet would be more likely to survive should they get swept away.

Another example:
Three pets are duelling by a cliff. The Strongest pushes the other two off. The more Agile of the three catches themselves on a cliff ledge halfway down, whereas the third falls to their death. There is a slim chance of the third surviving if they are Healthy enough. The Agile pet must now see if they are Intelligent or Agile enough (or a combination of both) to climb to safety.

I believe that gives you a rough idea of how the process works. I will also ask you to fill out a form about how your pet would react in certain situations (e.g: fight, flight or freeze) to help inform the results.

Sponsors will be decided by the 'prettiness' & stats of a pet. For example, a Themed pet with all visible traits will be best off. A standard pet with no visible traits will be worst off. Carried traits do not count.
Some examples of pets that might get you sponsors:
- A themed pet
- A 4 - 6 vis pet
- A pet with all of a certain trait (eg Angelic, doesn't have to be themed)

Another thing to keep in mind is the colour of the pets, and the mutations. Wings could give you a serious advantage, for example. The colour of your pet may effect where it can best camouflage.

Lastly, you can form alliances. That is up to you to decide and organize. Alliances will be public. You can also PM me asking for your pet to do something specific, like hunt for a certain player or thing, but the most important thing is to make sure I am kept in the loop. It's no use making an alliance then not telling me about it. I will also need the confirmation of everyone in the alliance.

Districts

Each District will come with a bonus that will be put on top of your pet's existing stats.

District 1: +500 Health, +10 Strength
District 2: +200 Health, +10 Strength, +2 Intelligence
District 3: +20 Intelligence, +10 Dexterity
District 4: +5 Intelligence, +15 Dexterity, +100 Health
District 5: +15 Strength, +10 Agility
District 6: +20 Agility, + 100 Health
District 7: +10 Dexterity, +10 Strength, +5 Intelligence
District 8: +20 Dexterity, +100 Health
District 9: +10 Intelligence, +15 Strength
District 10: +10 Agility, +10 Strength, +5 Dexterity
District 11: +15 Intelligence, +10 Strength
District 12: +20 Strength, +10 Agility

There can, naturally, only be two competitors per District.

Game Outline

Once all of the slots are filled, Training will begin.

Training will let you boost some of your stats even more. You can choose between Health, Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity & Agility.
Training Health will potentially grant you 10, 20, 30, 40 or 50 extra points.
Training the other four will potentially grant you 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 extra points.
You will be able to train three things. They could be different, all the same, or any combination you can imagine.
After training, some pets will be contacted by sponsors.

After Training is The Parade. Pictures of all pets will be uploaded and anyone active on the thread can vote for two pets. The three pets with the most votes afterwards will be contacted by sponsors. I will also pick some based on the criteria listed in the Introduction.

Q - Just a question before I enter my pets, with the most likely to betray friends one with the scale is one like certain and 10 never or the other way round?
A - 10 is certain, and 1 is never. Additionally, with 'Reacting to anxious situations', 10 equates to excellently and 1 to horribly.
