What is the AP points for and how do you use them?

AP are just a currency that you receive from doing things like fighting and finishing quests.
There's just a few things you can use them for. You can buy certain hairstyles and the like from the wardrobe for your avatar, buy new avatar save spaces, buy new party save spaces, and buy save spaces for designs in the generator.
