it depends on if you are giving something in return. ie if you ask for prism donations and promise a maxstat for the donations, its fine. but if you make a post saying something like ' give me gold im broke ' its begging

Rule 3G: You may not beg or ask for items, gold, diamonds or any type of asset from Staff or other players anywhere on the Site.
About the only time I've seen it be acceptable is if you're going to be running a giveaway thread or something. In which case you can't keep any of the donations.
