(CLOSED)

Setting (Didn't make it by myself, Kassel Labs made the program I just used it.)
Link to Kassel Labs. (Just gonna thank them.)

Welcome to The New Strike! I just wanted to make this (AU?) roleplay in honor of the upcoming movie and the show I can't watch because I can't afford Disney+, The Mandalorian. I am going to assign who the Jedi is when all of the spots are filled- and no, I'm not making my character the Jedi- she is my actual fan-character and she's a pilot of one of the fastest ships in the modern-day galaxy.

RULES:

> No over-powered characters, please.
> Please don't make characters related to canon characters.
> If you have suggestions, please tell me, but in the end, my word is law.
> Please don't make your characters related.
> Before you begin to shove characters into relationships, please see if the other person is alright with it first and see if the characters will work together romanticly.
> Two sentences per reply, please.
> I will only allow canon races.
> Please slow down when someone isn't on/at least ping them a few times.
> I will kick people off if they start harassing others or start being rude. Right now I just want a relaxed roleplay about one of my favorite things ever.
> Please use at least a sixth-grade level of grammar, it gets hard for me to understand.

Intro:
It starts in Bestine

You all start on a planet in the Outer Rimm, known as Tatooine. Some of you are probably there to watch an epic underground race, others may be here to get some work done, or you are trying to get away from the New Empire so you live as a different person, to protect yourself and your family. Maybe it's all three, but be careful, someone might be watching...

In one way or another, all five of you meet and form a friendship that could cause hell for your foes.

Lyyra
The young kage whistled as she began to ready her racer. She was so happy she would be able to get in with the big guys this season. Lyyra stretched, her hood falling off of her head. Luckily the New Empire wasn't in this part of Tatooine at the moment, because they have a tendency to find and shut down her wage. "Lyyra!", Her father called.

The girl jumped, turning to face the taller Kage. "Yes, Papa?", She asked.

"Be careful.", Demet ordered, kissing his daughter's forehead, causing her to giggle. "The race starts in five, hurry hurry."

"I will.", Was all she said before she hugged him and clambered into the ship.

Zeno
Zeno stalked Bestine's streets, casually avoiding every droid that wandered too close, sometimes he'd let out a grunt as a warning. He decided to search for a wanted group that was causing havoc in the streets. Zeno was also thinking about making his way to the races, possibly one of them could be hiding there, betting on who would win.

Adona should have left the planet yesterday but she had run into a problem. Her mother had somehow discovered the identity of her ship so she couldn't take off till she had managed to fix it up enough that it wouldn't be recognizable. She only knew because of her youngest brother who had managed to get a hold of her before she could take off. So all day and the day before she'd been working on the ship. She finally was letting herself take a break so she could watch the race. She began to leave the hangar.

Avix was in a prime spot to watch the race. He wasn't bidding or anything, just curious on how these races went down. He usually never goes to Tatooine anyways, so why not make this trip count? He was standing up and swaying on his feet, trying to not put too much weight on one for too long. Sometimes he looked around cautiously, but he mainly was just waiting for the race to start.

Lyyra
Lyyra excitedly turned on the pod, she knew the rules by memory. Three normal laps around the city, and then the last one was just for them to slow down. Also, there was no fighting or cheating, cameras where everywhere and cheaters could be killed- and she didn't want to take that chance. As the pilots were called up Lyyra nestled down into her chair, pulling her hood up, she didn't want anyone to see who she was, just in case she wins and someone gets angry. She pulled up, glancing around at the crowd, slowly her nerves ate at her, but she pushed her caution down and leaned forward, turning some controls on, waiting for the words to begin.

Zeno
Zeno arrived just on time, the midday sun's light glinting off of his dark armor. He pushed through the crowd, his height causing him to tower over most of the citizens. Zeno's hidden cold eyes scanned the area looking for one of the men with a red patch with a black sun painted onto it.

Mako watched as the race began curiously, on Naboo there hadn't really been anything similar to this so, of course, as Mako had never been off of Naboo before now he had also never watched a race. He turned to an other person who seemed to be watching the race. He looked like he could be around his age if not a few years older. "This is so.. Intriguing." Mako said to Avix, a mix of both confusion and excitement lacing his voice.

Adona took the closest open seat. She remembered the races her mother had taken her to see. They were always much more sophisticated than this. Apart of her longed to return to the comfort of home but it would go against every one of her values. She wondered how long her family had been looking for her and what they'd do if they ever found her. She bit her lip and shook her head. Such bothersome thoughts served no good in the moment. She focused her attention on the race, happily awaiting its start.
