So... A fantasy/adventure. (sorry kiwi if this sounds sort of like your rp)
What do you think of this idea: Magic is not allowed in the world(wherever they are) but some people have it and are secretly using it, not remembering what happened last time someone used magic because the war was so horrible that people didn't dare say it out loud again. But magic is rising again, secretly, waiting to be released. Chaos magic(s) is waiting for a moment to strike, heedless of its 'masters' warnings. The other magic(s) that had been kept hidden for so long are ready to stop it, ready to defend the world at all costs.

Magic He can sort of control storms, bend time, and turn invisable in the right lighting, but each of these abilities are taxing

Gender: Female

Appearance: Red hair, one green eye and one blue eye, and fair skin. Only around 5'1" and usually wear jeans and over-sized sweaters or dresses. Always sick in some sort of way

Personality: Kind and caring towards everyone, very forgetful. It takes her a while to become fully comfortable with someone but once she does she'll protect them with everything she's got. Even if you've wronged her she will try her hardest to be nice. Loves to be around large groups of people

Magic: Bev can make plants grow faster and make the harvests more bountiful, this does have a influence on her health though

Magic Type: Fauna? Plants?

Strengths: Beverly is an amazing cook and is very good at helping people make peace and helping everything run smoothly

Weaknesses: Much too trusting, kind to everyone, and easily influenced

Preferred weapon: Bev rarely carries weaponry but when she does it's a small pocketknife that belonged to her mother

Backstory: She grew up on a farm with tons of siblings and her parents. Along with being the 3rd oldest came responsibilities like cleaning, cooking, and taking care of younger sisters and brothers. She had tons of pets and actually liked to do her chores. Her father died and her mom had to sell the farm. They had to cram into a small apartment but Bev is perfectly happy being around her family, even though she has to hide why the little plants of their windowsills grow so well and why her many plants never die despite her being very forgetful

Personality: Likes to stay in the shadows and remain hidden from sight. Does not really like to talk to people and likes to be left alone. Can be angry at times.
Magic: Can control the shadows at will and can teleport through the shadows.

Strengths: He is a good fighter and good at hiding almost anywhere. Good at stealing.
Weaknesses: Bad at lieing, does not know how to talk to people so unpredictable.

Backstory(optional): He has scars on his back that he does not show anyone, so maybe abused?

Strengths: Talking to people, getting peoples trust, sticking to the rules, listening to people
Weaknesses: Not very good at lieing, has a hard time breaking rules, not the best at fighting
