Technically it's not invisible, so not sure if this counts as a bug or just a...FYI? The colors for Color Three and Gene One on Haunting Mists Qitari are very similar, so Gene One traits that don't borrow color from other Genes (like Leaf Veins or Abstract) barely show up on this particular breed of Qitari. I feel a little cheated by using items to guarantee a trait in this slot, but I'm torn on whether it's an interesting quirk of Haunting Mists Qitari or something that should be fixed up.
Examples:
Lucky Runes
Socks
Zebra
Lightning Bolt
And just to prove it's the color and not some bug in coding: here's Quagga and Leaf Veins which borrow from other traits' colors:
Leaf Veins:
Quagga:
Compare to these. I slotted in a blinding color just for comparison, not because I think this is what they should look like! ;p
Lucky Runes:
Lightning Bolt:
Quagga:

Yep. :/ Not technically a bug, but I'm not sure if it's intended/desired when it makes half the traits in that slot invisible. :(

As the designer of the Haunting Mists qitari, I will weigh in lol. The subtlety of some of the G1 traits is, indeed, intended. However, on a few of the HM qits it became *more* subtle than desired because of the colour swing on C1. The colour of C1 is supposed to be pale blue that is obviously pale blue, and the G1 is supposed to be pure white. However, with the colour swing, the two colours can end up much closer to each other than desired. I know I have a couple that I can't see the G1s on too, and it makes me a little sad, but when the colours come out properly, I am satisfied with how they are visible, but not in your face (the G1s with C3 added are the ones that are meant to be in your face). I tend to either make designs with all in-your-face colour differences, or ones with at least one subtle colour in a gene slot. Strange thing is, most of the themes I've had picked had that subtle gene colour on them:
Haunting Mists qitari (G1, and G3 to a certain extent)
Warlock's Familiar Vulnyx (G2)
Aster Luffox (G1)
Even the G1 on my Stargazer qitaris could be argued to be fairly subtle XD It's really funny to me that these designs of mine keep getting chosen when, I agree, some of the traits can end up near invisible. But..... I see it this way: they offer a lot in the way of customization. You can have a really subtly coloured 6v, or a 6v with genes that really pop. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but... *shrugs* At least a good number of the G1s *do* have the dark blue to help them out on the HMs?
