Basically, I just got called a time lord* by a 5 year old today and ROFLed.

Let me explain.

My pants are constantly falling down with my belt. Someone jokingly says I should get suspenders.

I said No, and was about to explain why I will not (I would get teased majorly) when my uncle says, But the Doctor wears suspenders!

In case you are not a fan of Doctor Who, the Doctor is a time lord. My favorite, the Eleventh, wears suspenders. (For the life of me, I cannot remember if the others wear suspenders. It has been so long since I have watched any other Doctor than the Eleventh.)

I was about to come back with a comment, probably about the fact that the current Doctor is female (IDK why, I have not watched any of the thirteenth Doctor and therefore do not know her wardrobe) when A____, a five year old boy who has never watch a single episode, says Yeah, because youre a doctor.

He did not understand how funny that was in the moment, or what he said.

I fell to my knees, laughing, and saying, He just called me a time lord! Everyone was confused. No one had heard him except for me.

So a five year old made my day.

*Yes, I know the proper term is time lady for a female, but I always call any gender time lord a time lord. I think it might have to do with the fact that the Eleventh was my first Doctor.
