Mutators aren't impossible to come by after all, so don't worry about it, k?

But for the next time you make a trade with someone, here's whatcha need to do. Just below your inventory slots there are these tiny little symbols. The last one, which looks like a mail envelope, allows you to send items to a specific player using that person's username, and has an optional CoD fee that lets you set the price for them to accept the item. Once the item is claimed, the gold is automatically sent to you. :3

And I'm not entirely sure, but I think the person who bought the mutators just sent it to me. Eimell randomly sent me a lesser mutator for 75k.
