In the world of Erdas, the evil known as the Devourer has returned, and we need all the people we can to stop him (Unless, of course, you're with the Conquerors). On the thirteenth (I changed the age) birthday of a child's life, they may or may not receive a special and rare bond with a spirit animal. You are one of these special children. Will you join us, the Greencloaks, and help restore peace to Erdas along with the summonses of the Four Fallen? Or will you become a Conqueror, helping Kovo and Gerathon dominate the land? We will see...

+ ... You're characters can die, but that would be if they are in a situation that any human would clearly not be able to get out of. Don't feel forced to do what you think is the right thing all the time. If your character is hotheaded, let the character make a few rash decisions!

Lands of Erdas

Eura - Eura has many moors and grassy hills, and is home to many shepherds. Eura's patron beast is Briggan the Wolf, and it is also ruled by a queen. It appears to resemble Europe, most noticeably The United Kingdom and Scandinavia. It is bordered to the east by Zhong, and Greenhaven is also sometimes considered a part of Eura.

Unlike Zhong, Eura's Nectar Ceremonies have the most important summoner go first.

Amaya - The Northern parts of Amaya is very snowy and cold, but the southern half is Lush green jungle Amaya seems similar to both North and South America (it is also called the 'New Lands', just like the Americas.) It even have a long mountain range from top to the bottom which seems similar to the Andes.

Amaya is a country located in the west of Erdas. It's well known for willow extract, an important medicine. Amaya's flag is yellow with a falcon in mid-flight on it. A Prime Minister and the government is in charge of the country. Arax, Ninani and Essix orginate from here.

Nilo - Nilo's landscapes are desert, jungle, and savanna. Zebras, wildebeest, hyena, and big cats live on the continent. Water is scarce, and so is the food, but despite the living conditions being harsh, many people thrive in Nilo. Houses are often made from mud, animal skins, and thatched roofs. Nilo is known for its export of coffee and its warm climate.

As mentioned throughout the books, Nilo has many myths and legends. These include the legend of the Rain Dancer and the Stormspeaker, and Kovo the Ape's folktale mentioned in The Book of Shane: Vendetta. The continent also houses The Evertree, the most important location in all of Erdas. Ruled by a High Chieftain.

Zhong - Zhong is a place that resembles Asia in appearance as well as culture. It is also known as the Walled Lands.

Zhong is based on many Asian countries, most noticeably China. It is a big region with many villages scattered about the land. The Zhongese people call the Nectar Ceremony the 'Bonding Day celebration', and unlike Eura, the most important summoner goes last to increase the chance of getting a spirit animal. Meilin and her father are from here. There is a great wall in Zhong, which encircles its most important city, Jano Rion. The patron beast of Zhong is Jhi the Panda, who is also depicted on the flag.

It was invaded most likely because of its prosperity. Zhong was among the most devastated countries after the events of the war, but its people are currently rebuilding.

Stetriol - Stetriol is a continent located in the far south-east of Erdas. It is where the Conquerors originate from. Traditionally, it was ruled by a king, but he and his queen died, plunging Feliandor into rule too early. In the aftermath of the Second Devourer War the throne became vacant. Tahlia planned to take the throne, but was stopped by Shane.

Before the First Devourer War, Stetriol was very rich and prosperous. However, after the war, when Stetriol was isolated from the rest of Erdas, they became the poorest nation in Erdas.

Oceanus - Oceanus is a cluster of islands with a tropical climate. It is located below Zhong. During the Second Devourer War, the continent was taken over by The Conquerors. It was also the place (nightshade island) where King Feliandor was given the Bile, therefore starting the First Devourer War.
