Once upon a time (granted, a very recent time, but a time none the less.), a lone child wandered Mt. Ebott, and (quite literally) stumbled into something incredible. The Underground; a world lost to human history. There, they met the Underground's inhabitants; an entire race of monsters that had be imprisoned there for centuries. Foes became friends, and--
Wait, what's that? You've already heard this? That explains the bored expression... Why am I telling a story you already know then?
Stats and junk:
Last Save Point (In case somebody dies): Post 4179
Hug Count (Because it happens a lot here): 36
Awful Pun Count* (Because that also happens a lot here): 80
(*I'm not including puns made outside the story of this.)
(Undertale and charathers created by Toby Fox)
(No, I don't think the game needs a sequel. It already has like a dozen endings and pleantly of replay value. This is just for fun.)

(Ok, that was a good intro.)
Frisk shook around in her bed before yawning, and rubbing her eyes. She looked up and smiled, seeing a slice of butterscotch-cinnamon pie on a plate next to her. She yawned again and stretched, before hopping up and changing into her normal striped shirt and pants. Then she took the pie slice and left her room, storing it in her ITEM bag.

The night had been a long one for Sans. After catching there first glimpse of the Surface and accidentally scaring every human within a five mile raduis (aside from Frisk, Dog bless her...), Papyrus had insisted that they start packing as soon as possible. That was about a week ago, and he'd been running on about four hours of sleep a night rather than the usual seven since then, trying to compensate with cat naps when ever Paps' back was turned. Been workin' myself down to the bone, He reflected, gazing at the mountian boxes from his seat atop yet another box. At this point in time, the entire house was almost entirely empty except for the boxes and a certain sock that Papyrus was just itching to watch him pick up.
And Sans planned to.
Eventually.
Maybe.
Only time would tell, right?
He slid off the box and stretched his arms over his head. Regardless, Papyrus had run off a few minutes ago to assist Undyne with the last of her things, leaving the Sans alone to do whatever. And he had a few "whatevers" to attend to. Tugging on his blue hoodie, he made for the door and stepped outside into the crisp air of Snowdin.
---
Toriel hummed softly to herself as she prepared breakfast, setting two plates on the small table. Her fluffy white ears twitched slightly upon hearing footsteps from upstairs and turned just in time to see Frisk step into the kitchen. "Good morning, my child." She greeted, smiling warmly. "Did you sleep well?"

Frisk ran over to Toreil and hugged her. *Mm-hmm! Morning, Mom!* Frisk said, smiling. Then she sat at the table, and smiled at Toreil, before picking up a fork and poking her breakfast.

Toriel chuckled lightly. "Good to hear." She replied, smiling back. "I hope you don't mind pancakes for breakfast."
---
Papyrus glanced over at Undyne as he tapped the last of the boxes shut. "WHERE DID YOU WANT THIS ONE AGAIN??" He inquired, before attempting to remove a particularly suubborn scrap of duct tape from his scarf.

Frisk smiled. *yay!* then she dug in happily. *thanks!*
Undyne shrugged, carrying a box with one hand. *ahh, dont care. Set it near the doorway.*

Papyrus hoisted the box up with a comical amount of effort and managed to lug it towards the flame-damaged door. "Huff, huff... THERE WE GO!"* He announced.
---
Toriel smiled again and nodded. "You are very welcome." She said, putting a pan in the sink. "Did you have any plans today?"
(*I should've thought of how much the full-caps would bother me before commiting to Papyrus. Ah, well.)

Toriel glanced over at the wall clock, then nodded. "I'm sure they would both appreciate that. Take your time, child."
---
"THOUGH I HAVE TO ADMIT, I'M STILL WONDEING HOW YOU CAN DO THIS WITH ONE ARM...." Papyrus went on.

Frisk smiled and nodded, before hugging Toreil. *love you, Mom!* she said, smiling, before running through the door that would lead her to the rest of the Underground.
Undyne shrugged and grinned. *im the Capitian of the Royal Guard. You gotta be strong.*
