Hi there! The green stars mean that you've found an uncommon pet, which has one hidden trait, if I remember correctly. Someone who's been around longer can correct me if need be. It's purely a cosmetic difference, as far as I know. There are other colours too. Most sylesties will have white stars, meaning they are common. Green are uncommon, blue are rare, and purple are mythic.
