{EVIL AT THE HEART OF DRAGONS}
NOT A WoF RP OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT
This is MY idea! Don't steal it!
You have learned through a source of your choice that a strange sickness is affecting dragons all over the world. Their eyes turn a glowing orange and orange ooze comes from their mouths and noses. They act as a hive-mind, but no one knows who controls the masses or how this came to be. What we do know is that the sickness takes root in a dragon's mind and that a dragon with this sickness becomes hostile. We also know that any dragon who ingests the ooze becomes sick as well. At first, they become paranoid and distance themselves from others. Many ramble things about 'the keeper' or 'the mistress' but other than that no one can understand what they speak of. It's only the beginning of this epidemic so larger cities and similar places are still relatively safe, however, the hordes gather in the wilderness and hunt near smaller villages. Many dragons think this is the end. How will you survive?
-LOCATIONS-
These aren't all of the locations, just the main ones!
-Riverbalt Forest-
A dangerous forest where the infected lurk. The tall, gnarled trees make for excellent ambush spots. Many small villages are built near this forest and are in incredible danger. Some believe that there is a shrine to a long-forgotten deity that lies at the heart of this forest and that the ghosts of its former worshipers walk its halls. Stay away unless you want to be killed.
-Riverbalt Channel-
A large river that runs through Riverbalt Forest. Who knows what may lie beneath the water?
-Sea Haven- \/ Roleplay Starts Here! \/
An enormous city floating on an eastern bay. The safest city because of its location. However many people have reported seeing infected in the streets.
-Shiversnow Forest-
A snowy forest to the north. Houses many less infected than Riverbalt Forest.
-Shiversnow Expanse-
An expanse of arctic plains that goes on for dozens of miles in all directions. Almost no infected gather here.
-RULES-
GENERAL:
*Dragons only
*No Power playing
*No Mary Sues/ Gary Stus (No perfect characters)
*Don't control other peoples characters
*Hate the OC not the player
*Limit two characters per player
*Minimum two sentences per post (in rp)
*Any powers your dragon has must have some sort of draw-back the more powerful the bigger the draw-back
*If you want to change the plot in any major way pm me what you want to do or don't do it
*If you want to leave the roleplay kill your character and say you left
*This is not a sunshine rainbows roleplay. It will get dark!
BATTLE:
*No god-mode
*No sudden dodging
*ATTEMPT the attack don't just say you did it 'The dragon aimed for he opponents neck hoping she would land a good blow'
*Don't kill other peoples characters unless you have permission from them
*You HAVE to take damage sometime!
Name: Nekonata /Neck-oh-not-ah/ Friends might call her Neko
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Straight
Relative age: Young Adult
Relative size: A little larger than a pickup truck
Personality: Curious and generally happy-go-lucky, always seeing the brighter side of things. She longs to have friends but her bone markings make that difficult. She loves learning new spells and mixing new potions and is always up for an adventure. A jovial prankster she loves to give a little scare to those around her but apologizes profusely if things ever go too far. Not very confident or much of a leader type, but give her a push in the right direction, and you just might unlock a hidden determination inside her.
Appearance: Very bat-like with shorter legs and large strong wings. Bone markings appear when she is distressed or feeling strong emotions. They also glow in the dark.
Strengths: She is at home in the air. Can fly quickly and is very agile. Able to fly very long distances. strong bite. Sharp claws. Clever.
Weaknesses: Using her magic makes her tired. Slow on land. Has a hard time holding things sometimes.
Likes: Flying, learning new stuff (especially magic and potions) bugs (she eats them xd)
Dislikes: Being alone, feeling slow, failing at magic or potions.
Powers: Skilled in both magic (mostly wind magic) and alchemy. Can breathe light green flame.
Oh my, yes! I'll use Swan instead of Ember for a change of pace, although I quite like her.

Name: Swan
Gender:Female
Sexuality:pan
Relative age: Young adult
Relative size: unusually tall - maybe about the size of a giraffe? (Her name really should be giraffe instead of Swan xD)
Personality: She has a naiive, all aloof demeanor, but she's been through a lot despite the way she seems. She's more of a follower than a leader, and is more comfortable on solid ground than in the air. Her large wings make her ungainly and she often becomes frustrated due to her clumsiness. Swan looks on the bright side, even when the world is crumbling around her. She likes to help other dragons by talking them through their problems, and she has quite the way with words.
Appearance: A light sandy color, with brown markings on her shoulders and forearms, similar to a giraffe. She's very thin and gangly, with large wings and big brown eyes.
Strengths: Fishing and gardening, wit, positive
Weaknesses: Very clumsy, and can't breathe fire, easily forgetful, sensitive
Likes: Gardening, helping others, family
Dislikes: Heavy rain, her height and sheer size, being confined with nothing to do
Powers: Unknown

Name: Tsun
Gender:Male
Sexuality:Bi
Relative age: adult
Relative size: Large and muscular, a gentle giant - just under Swan's height
Personality: Tsun has a strong and quiet demeanor. He can become protective of those close to him and is willing to take almost anyone under his wing. He's known to be a bleeding heart. He learned his craft from his father, who died from the illness. Tsun believes that his purpose in life is to serve others. Carving statues calms him down and clears his mind. Nothing makes him happier than when other dragons find joy in his metalwork and art.
Appearance: A deep aquamarine with mossy green underscales and pale yellow eyes. Always carries a leather satchel (like Ember did, but bigger) to keep his tools and crafts in.
Strengths: Works as a master crafter, can forge weapons, statues, jewelry, almost anything, and an expert carver, strong
Weaknesses: Not a great flier, easily taken advantage of, has a cough and breathing troubles due to fumes from his workplace
Likes: Carving, swimming, festivals and the marketplace, young dragonets, fixing broken items
Dislikes: Misbehaving dragons, vandalism, when he can't protect every dragon, overcooked meat and fish
Powers: Can breathe underwater, and actually breathe it, in the way some dragons can breathe fire.

Name: Darcy
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Asexual/Demisexual
Relative age: young adult
Relative size: About the size of a Great Dane
Personality:This dragon is cool and serene. He is not one to balk in the face of danger, nor does he show much emotion. It seems he'd much rather keep it bottled up inside. He is not anitsocial, and actually likes to surround himself with friends. He is just quiet and introverted. He does, however, behave like he is somehow more special than others. He holds himself with a certain grace that many might associate with some sort of priest or other nobleman. Perhaps this is because he has found books that speak of deities he very much believes in, or maybe it is just because he has the ability to heal, but only to a certain limit, which he has not discovered yet. He has also a achieved a very high level of intelligence, but nobody but his friends really know, since he does not often speak outright. Especially to strangers.
Appearance: Silver scales and dark gray markings give Darcy his appearance. His soulful yellow eyes seem to pierce right into you. A pendant he discovered on many an excursion adorns his neck.
Strengths: Darcy is quick witted and can think his way out of many situations.He is also very agile due to his size and uses it to its full advantage. Although not much of a fighter, Darcy is quite good at making tempers sizzle down until it is no longer there.
Weaknesses: Darcy often gives the impression that he thinks he's better than everyone. He avoids strangers like the plague, or this new epidemic, and hardly speaks to those he doesn't know. Which makes it hard to get to know anyone, since he won't communicate normally.
Likes: Books, honoring the deities he has read of and believes in, hunting, investigating numerous curiosities, healing those in need, his friends, giving odd gifts, his cave that he has opened up to his best friend
Dislikes: Mud, diseases, the epidemic, too much violence (a little may be necessary, too much is a hassle), being made fun of, his deities being called fakes, being forced to speak to someone he doesn't want to talk to
Powers: He has the ability to heal wounds and minor diseases. He has discovered he has no power over this new epidemic, and it almost cost him his own health. However, after healing more than one individual, his energy is tasked and he must rest.

Name: Helmer
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Bisexual
Relative age: Middle Aged/A little older than Darcy
Relative size: About the size of a two story house/quite large
Personality: This dragon is the exact opposite of his best friend. He is loud and can be obnoxious at times. He also has a strong warrior spirit and loves to pick a fight. He treats no one gently except his quiet friend, Darcy. He knows when to be humble and give up his pride, and often tries to tell his friend to stop carrying himself like a king. He is clever, but is not as intelligent as his pal. He is brain dead more often than not, which just proves he's more brawn than brains. Recently he has become very cautious of other dragons and a lot more protective of Darcy.
Appearance: Helmer definitely looks like a warrior. He also appears to be made of plants.
Strengths: Strong melee fighter, is not afraid of battle, humble, good sense of humor, not afraid to speak his mind
Weaknesses: loud and big, slow due to immense size, not very intelligent, also not good at listening
Likes: fighting, chaos that he creates, protecting those he cares about, all kinds of food (though he tries not to eat as many plants, since he can control them), watching Darcy study and worship his deities, and surprisingly, he actually really likes to collect soft things.
Dislikes: cleaning up his messes, other people's chaos, the epidemic, others being mean to his best friend, having to settle down and not fight it out, spiky thorned things
Powers: Helmer can control plants and even breathe a poisonous gas. However, he opts for melee attacks on windy days, for wind often redirects the poisonous gas away from his target. His plants are often trees and vines, things that are good at entangling.

Gender: Male
Relative age: young adult
Relative size : around the size of a one story house
Personality: Bossy and a bit over confidant, he tend to come off has uncaring and brutaly honest to others, even heartles at time but he is actions tell another story. He push others away to keep hismelf from being hurt again, but still hope to find someone who will be able to tolerate his temper.
Sexuality: bisexual
Appearance:
Strengths:
- very confident in his hability and rarely hesitate to do anything
- his actions speak often louder then his words
- smart and use to live on his own already
- very strong and with a powerfull bite force
Weaknesses:
- he cannot turn his armor off
- water hurt him like acide when his armor is on
- bossy and a bit overconfident
- come off as uncaring and brutaly honest to others
Likes:
- as strange as is seem, he does enjoy water when he isn't in his armor
- trees in bloom
- the smell of various plants and wet ground that alwais seem to be around marshes.
- cooking / signing, tho he rarely do show those caapacity unless asked, he pride himself to be capable of doing so
Dislikes:
- being prouved wrong
- being alone
- rain
- cloudy night, especialy if he is stuck in his armor
Powers: (with a little bit more explanation on how they work)
golden flame : self explanatory, they are not realy stronger to a normal fire but act as a second skin if they get on his scales.
flame armor : When his scales are compleatly overrided by his golden flame it will form an armor, turning him in a literal walking/flying ball of fire, biting fire will hurt and of course other fires won't make it stop, water however is not very apreciated at those time. The flame armor is very finicky and cannot be turn off at will, it will only stop when the moon is shining.
While in his armor he also get access to battle knowledge from the previous flames bearrer witch also force him to live through traumas and horror of actualy having the vivid memory of those moments playing in the back of his mind, this alone can take quite a toll on him mentality.

Personality: She is usualy a ball of playfullness and joy, a quite childish one at that. In the very rares moments where she is not smiling however that mean that things are getting serious.

- inexperianced in fight
- loud noises scare her
Likes:
- fooling around
- playing tricks on others dragons
- flying
Dislikes:
- walkings for too long
- fights
- yelling
Powers:
Illusion: self explanatory, she can create illusions around her of course those illusions even if realistic cannot hurt anyone. Those dissipate when she lose her focus.
Galaxy flare: A blast of ions she can breath, it have the effect of acid on any living substances but turn all inanimated objects it touch to stones. Keeping it going for too long can cause her to lose her voice for a while.

Nekonata's chest rose and fell softly as she slept upside down from the rafters in her small home. Then her talons slipped and she fell on her face with an oof. She stood up and stretched, rubbing her face. She grabbed her coin purse and stepped out into the street.

He sat by a tree near the center of town, vaguely anoyed at the peoples around as they spoke loudly enough for him to hear evrything. The masives cristals of his tail tapping the ground in rythme with the melody he had in the back of his head.
Syveis
As the first ray of sun raised she had bounced off of her, her wild imagination already creating illusions of a mistical forest as she enter her living room and then her kitchen to take a quick meal befor heading outside. She coudn't wait to practice her powers in a more open area, all she neaded was an easy target... A mischivious smile made it's way on the childish dragoness face.

Hearth was soaking in the suns rays when of in the distance she saw a big tree she started walking to the tree when she saw a anoyed looking dragon under it. she walked up to Skaaul " Why are you tapping your tail on the ground ?" she asked with a smile on her face.

Nekonata walked to the markets near the Sea Haven's center where she found a light blue dragon with pearly white horns selling fried crickets and other insects.
"Hi there Vaer!" Nekonata smiled.
"Hi, Neko. Here for the usual?" Vaer sat up a little.
"Always." She handed him a shiny gold piece and received a little bag of her favorite snack. She then sat on the rim of the fountain at the town's center happily eating as if the crickets were pop-corn.

The streets bustled as Darcy hustled through the marketplace. He stopped when he heard a crash from behind and hid his face in a clawed paw. He knew it wasn't a good idea to bring his very large friend to such a crowded place. He turned around and sighed as he watched Helmer quickly set a fruit stand upright again. "My- my apologies," the large dragon grumbled before slowly maneuvering his way to Darcy.
The large dragon dipped his head to speak with his best friend. "Why couldn't you have gone to the marketplace built for bigger dragons?" he demanded gently, to which the silver dragon shrugged. "Because what I need isn't at that marketplace," Darcy answered.

After noticing that it wasn't another background noise and someone actualy try to speak with him, he turn toward the dragoness glaring dagger at her as he stop his tail movements. " No real reason, i hust have a song on the back of my head ... what do you want?"

The dragon Heath was talking to turned toward her and stared daggers at her. She realized the dragon had asked her a question " I don't want anything you just looked like a fun dragon to talk too .' she said giving Skaaul a friendly smile.

He was a bit taken aback by this but didn't let it show, instead, he reacted the only way he knew and grin. " You never heard of stranger danger before ? I could be a killer for all you know..."
