Ilona woke up in someplace she did not recognize. She looked around, completely confused. She was about to take off the skull mask she wore to get a better look when she noticed someone nearby. She paused then stood, drawing her sword in the process. She did not plan to hurt them, not unless provoked, but thought it best to be ready. After a moment of watching them, she drew close, her sword in clear sight. Who are you? she questioned.

So here you go! They randomly show up in a place they do not know. Please excuse my lack of quotation marks and apostrophes as I use my IPad most of the time and they tend to not show up on it after posting. Feel free to respond whenever!

Ruff blinked and tried to clear his vision. He could hear a voice nearby plus a foot bigger than he was. He was surprised that he had been noticed at his size. Apparently the Goblin gang had not been pleased that his last case had thwarted his plans. Doubtless the spell they shot at him was meant to be something more fatal. Luckily for him magic seemed to affect him oddly ever since the Incident. He shook his head and shakily sat up muttering " Ug you can see me?"

Ilona nodded. Ya, I mean you are small but are you supposed to be invisible or something? She asked. She sat down. She slowly put the sword away. Her eyes could barely be seen from beneath her mask, just a bit of green. Tell me, where are you from? It so clearly is not here, but I guess I dont know where here is. she said. She tugged at her scarf to loosen it.

Ruff slowly stood trying to asses the damage stretching slowly and fluttering his hummingbird like wings. Thankfully nothing seemed injured. He was a bit dizzy, but otherwise unharmed. He raised his own green eyes to look at the person sitting next to him. "Normally humans can't really see fairies and other mythical races when they do get around us. It's a type of magic that keeps us safe."
He pulled off his fedora and dusted it off exposing his red hair. Placing his hat back on his head he looked at the masked human. " Although if you are not from there and apparently neither of us is from here that might explain that at least." With a slight humm his wings blured as he flew to eye level of the girl. "Any idea how you ended up...wherever here is?"

Ilona looked at his wings. Ah, that makes sense. I do not know where here is, but I think while I was teleporting to my home, something went wrong. I remember a brief moment before I teleported the magic seemed way off. Then I showed up here. She stated. A nervous look spread across her face, though it was hidden behind her mask. The whole situation made her uncomfortable. Oran seemed just as uneasy. Though she could not talk to him, she could sense the way he felt and his unease made her realize that this was most definitely not his doing, not that she thought he was capable of this. Everything was wrong.

Ruff winced slightly, "Think mine had more to do with a certain Goblin's badly done spell...That and the fact that magic just affects me oddly these days." He landed on a rock nearby. "At any rate I'm Detective Rufous Jay Farian. Best just to call me Ruff, everyone does." He looked around and sighed. "I suppose the first order of business is to find out where exactly we've ended up."

Ilona nodded. That would be a good place to begin. So you are a detective? That may be helpful. she said slowly. She shut her eyes for a moment as she tried to think. A town. Hopefully there are sentient beings here. We are kinda in trouble if not. She fumbled with her ring. After a moment of thoughtless staring, she started walking off in a seemingly random direction.

Ruff flew alongside her, "if you don't mind me asking, what's your name?" He grinned humorously, "I mean if we are to travel together I'll need something to call you besides hey you or sword girl. Neither of which is exactly flattering."

She paused. Uh, I am Ilona. Though you can call me whatever you want I guess. she said. She shrugged a bit then continued walking. It was hard for her to decide how much she should share should it come up.

Ruff chuckled, "I'm not so good at giving names so your own will have to be sufficient." He flew alongside Ilona Simply glad that he did not have to walk. His limp while honorably gained tended to embarrass him. He hated the feeling and display of vulnerability. Thankfully he was an excellent flyer zipping acrobatically through the few vagrant breezes.
