School is out for the summer and all the kids of Hiemat were free to play in the Catina woods. The place was often referred to as the Catwoods by the kids who played there, and it was a public forest with a large creek running through it that the local kids of all ages love to hang out in
The rp will revolve around a group of friends who have fun in the woods and help everyone with their various problems
Important NPCs Camilla (Cami) Asperano [15/f]: The girl who runs the giving tree, a swap shop in a large tree house. She trades kids trinkets, food, and toys for her wares (one of her dads owns a pawn shop and the other is a businessman)
Celeste ORyan [13/f]: A fortune teller who can read the stars to tell kids their horoscopes
Oliver Byrant [14/m]: Everyday at 1:00, Oliver climbs onto a tree ranch near the giving tree to tell the local news to all the kids who gather around him. It usually only lasts 5-10 minutes unless something big happens
Barry Carson [13/m]: A young boy who is friends with Celeste and keeps a large map of the Catwoods and all the locations.
Murph [1?/?]: A teenager who is famous for their heroic deeds. Theyre most well known for apprehending a dangerous criminal who robbed a store with a knife and then fled into the woods while kids were still there. No one has ever seen Murphs face or knows anything about them
Important NPC groups The Masquerade: A group of teenage heroes who wear animal themed masquerade masks and capes to protect the woods from delinquents and dangerous conflicts and some stray animals who are too aggressive. The current members are Fox [15/m] Owl [16/f] Snake [14/m] Tiger [15/m/second in command] Shark [14/f] and Phoenix [16/f/leader]
The Delinquents: a group of rowdy kids and teens who cause trouble, also the #1 rivals of the Masquerade. Current members are Scratch [12/f] Crash [14/m] Dagger [13/m] Slash [13/f] Strike [15/f] Calamity [15/f/second in command] Alastair [16/m/leader]
The Grand Council: A group of teens who have a small cave hideout where they practice magic and play a game of legendary magic and battles and quests and journeys. They also run a podcast of that game. Members are Ceto [14/f] Oberon [15/m] Epione [15/m/Medical pro] Arrow [16/m] Sylver [16/f] Magnolia [15/f] Rhys [16/Dungeon Master]. Rhys also organizes meetings of the Elders groups leaders to discuss any important information regarding the woods
Boy Scouts: A group of boys who go around the woods to do good deeds and protect the woods. Often justnout looking for glory or earning their patches. Members are Hunter [11/m] Westley [12/m] Neil [15/m] August [14/m] Damien [16/m/Scoutmaster]
Girl Scouts: A group of girls who go through the woods to assist people and take care of nature and do good deeds, they also sell amazing cookies. Dahlia [12/f] Delilah [12/f] Winter [13/f] Eva [15/f] Bianca [16/f/leader]
Rules
Dont be overpowered
You cant join any npc groups until the rp starts (theyll have to accept you)

Bio: He moved to the town after his dad got remarried to a woman who lived already lived in the town. He has two older step sisters (Jenny/19 and April/15) and a younger biological set of twins (Bea and Ben/10)he enjoys exploring and helping people but he gets very nervous really easily and just wants to make friends

Alice is shy, sweet, caring, and a very jumpy person. She is the type to rather want to stay home and relax in safety. At times she can be very brave and isn't scared of getting hurt, at other times she is frightenable and easily able to scare.. ( Though, she wasn't always like this, not that anyone knows it. She used to be very adventurous before an accident.. )

Alice moved into the town about a month ago with her family, she is quite new to the area and doesn't really know much about the town or the forest. Every time she tries to go into the forest though, she seems to scared to as she usually sees a dog. She is extremely frightened of dogs, mostly because before she moved into town she had an accident with one. She is very friendly for the most part, but she prefers to stay at home.

Personality: She is super kind, energetic, talkative and childish. She has little to no maturity. She is reckless and has no sense of caution. She oddly has never been seen with anything broken which helps very little since it encourages her to continue. She rarely allows another kid to join her dangerous escapades. Despite her generally friendliness, she is actually rather closed off about most things. She has never confirmed or denied being adopted, nor any of her past for that matter. She never expresses any emotions other than joy except for brief moments after her mistakes when she might show pain.
Appearance: I will hopefully draw her soon, but for now a description.
She is an average height, about 5 feet 2 inches. She has wavy black hair that goes down to her elbows. She has green eyes. She normally wears what resembles a WWII aviator flight helmet and goggles, a brown scarf, a plain brown t-shirt, a green knee length skirt, and tennis shoes. With her, she also carries a green back pack that has snacks, a journal and often little random trinkets of little to no value.
Bio: She showed up about 2 years ago. According to a lot of sources, she is adopted after having jumped around a lot of different foster homes. She is well known for her many failed stunts. She desires to join The masquerade but has been denied many times as her recklessness is not well looked upon.

Jayde is a clever young lady, she has always enjoyed silently watching The Masquerade; She usualy just takes notes from their behaviors. She has decent leadership skills, but her short temper tampers with that trait. Jayde is very respectful of those older than her, she was raised by her father- who was a marine, and her older brother who is an officer. Jayde can be a little intimidating, and seems cold and distant from time to time; but when she grows close to someone she's like a big puppy.

Bio:
Her big brother, Officer Marc Hunt, who is twelve years older than her, is her only close family member; because their father is deceased and they don't know where their mother is. they moved into their small apartment eight years ago. They have lived in the town for their whole lives, but after their mother went missing they had to move into the small home. She was usually at her friends' houses when her broth was going through training. She had idolized The Masquerade when she was younger, she now just watches from afar, knowing it was best to stay out of the others' way.
