I have had tons of pets in the past and am just curious as to what critters everyone else has or has had? Exotic animals or domestic, doesn't matter! Feel free to post stories if you'd like. Also, what kind of career do you want for your future?

Jack Russell named Dolly - 10 years old and has cancer :(
African Pygmy Hedgehog named Penelope
Blue Veiltail Betta Fish named Maximus
Young Ball Python named Cleopatra - 20 inch long
Barney and Baby the cockatiels (birds) - passed away at age 15 and 14.
Many, many mice - I was breeding them for snake food
Mittens, Callie, Boo, and Jade (Cats) - I owned them all at different times!

I have had many more animals but they are no longer with me. I only included Barney and Baby the deceased cockatiels, because I consider them very cool pets.

~~~~ My Career Path ~~~~
I am currently studying to get my degree in veterinary medicine. I've worked at many animal rehabilitation centers as well as ranches. I hope to get an internship at a veterinarian's clinic next year.

My current pets:
4 dogs- Maverick (Lab/Chow mix), Saki (Treeing Walker Coonhound), Lego (Mutt of some sort. He looks really weird and we have no idea what he is. He may be a mythical creature), and Terri (Border Terrier/Shih Tzu mix).
3 cats- Sasha, Cassie, and Sammie
And 1 Upside-down Catfish named Joe. We've had him for 14 years and I believe he may be immortal.

Past pets:
Maggie (Black lab), Molly (Golden retriever), Noelani (Husky), Snoopy (Bunny), Snakey (You guessed it, a snake. I believe he was a garter snake), and several guinea pigs.

For my future career I'm hoping to become an illustrator, and maybe someday work in the comic book industry.

Also, it's cool that you want to be a vet! My mom is one, and she loves it.

Heheh he most certainly is not dead.
They're called that because they like to hang out floating on their backs for some reason. He looks like this:

Oh thats neat. My brother used to have a little albino catfish, but I have to say it never floated upside down XD

I love fish, they are so weird and unique.

I have a dog, Astro, He's a German Shepherd. I also have a Cat I call "Mr. Kitty", for reasons. xD
I also lease two horses, (Er...More like my older brother leases them for me. xD) And I've had a couple of Siamese Fighting Fish, and they all lived a loooong time before finally going to the fish tank in the sky. x3

When I grow up, I want to go into law. Not like, Courtroom law if I can help it, but maybe a K9 handler, or a mounted officer. :) I want to make a difference, ya know?

I had a female golden retriever named Bobby when I was young :3 Sadly we had to put her down because she was developing cancer or tumor in her neck, which made her vomit a lot :( She was also suffering from age and almost couldn't see or smell anything :( Bless her in heaven ;u;

Career path? I don't know ;A; I'm one of those people that can live to 30 and still not know what they wanted to be ;u; I'm currently going for Art psychology, but I have no real goal in mind. Just finish highschool, get good grades, good job, vague ideas like that :(

I have a Bombay (black cat) called Shadow, he's adorable and he's also had ticks many times and been hit by a car, but we've saved him all those times and he is still young and adorable. He doesn't look or act injured at all.
I also have 4 fish, two of which are khuli loaches and the other two are swordtail babies. I used to have more fish, but they've already died. This batch of fish has lasted longer than any of my other fish though, and their habitat seems stable.

As for careers, I don't know entirely what I want to do yet. I originally wanted to become a palaeontologist, but lately I've been considering becoming a concept artist for games or something similar. I've even considering becoming a website coder. (I know HTML.)

If none of those falls through, I'll study law and become a barrister or something similar.

Pets...pets...hehe...I'll put them in order of age xD

Cats~
-Skittles(Gray and white tabby shorthair girl. She was a stray that lived in the warehouse at the store my mom worked at.They were gonna kill her, so we came in and rescued her. she onyl likes us, and is named Skittles because she skittles away from everyone XD The people at ym mom's work named her that XD)

-Oreo(Perfect black and white tuxedo shorthair male, complete with boots and mittens =) He's Skittle's son.)

-Chita(Brown and white tabby longhair male. Um, no, we have no idea where the long hair came from xD Both suspected parents were short hair, and his mom's parents were shorthairs xD So it must've been passed down a loooong way. He's Oreo's brother.)

-Buster(Tabby shorthair male. He's our drooling teddy bear. You can do anything to that cat,h e doesn't care. We rescued him and his siblings after their mom got hit by a car. They were still on the bottle when we got them, and had just only recently opened their eyes. Two, the smallest Lucky and their only sister, were close to death but my mom does wildlife rescue and was able to nurse them back to health.)

-Lillie(Tabby shorthair female. She's Buster's only sister, and now she is my sister's cat.)

-Willow/Demon Cat (Beautiful tortoiseshell girl. Shame she is pure evil...-is still nursing wound on my hand from last time that cat attacked me- She...wants to kill everybody. she is also extrmely intelligent. she taught herself how to pee in the toilet...somehow...She wants to bring death to Luna at all costs...She also enjoys clawing backs and eating hair And jumping into the refridgerator...)

-Luna(Adorble frostpoint/tabby oint siamese girl. She's still under a year old, so sometimes we call her kitten. we also call her Lunatic. But she is the cutest thing ever. She loves to cuddle (especially while you are using the restrooom) and at the moment is entranced by my straw...she also lieks to sit on keyboards, and is very clingy. she has to be by us at all times, so occasionally she gets stepped on because she doesn't tell s where she is and half the time its between oru feet or right behind us...)

~Dogs~
-Mr. Chips/ Chip(He's a border collie mutt. His mom is obviosuly a purebred, found by someone my dad knows. she was found pregnant, but him and his siblings are obviously not purebreds. So...we have no diea what he is, other than border collie. he is very pretty though. White with black speckles. Especially bvious when wet. He is a dork and looks like an idiot, but he is very smart. He can tell when you have treats and yells at you if you try to make him do tricks without them. He loves to fetch sticks, but he will bit them on the way back to you and sometimes lunges at you as you pick them up. he is the only dog we took to obediance school. He hates thunder and fireworks, and is also an escape artist....)

-Katrina(Our overly fat wolf mix girl. We ar told she is wolf and great pyrenese, but she is kinda small for either one, but definitly looks like a wolf. She has pretty wolf coloring, and she has the same face as a gray wolf. Like, we went to a wildlife park and saw the wolves, and were amazed how much they looked like her. We could've put her in there, and they probably wouldn't have noticed (excet that she is really fat...) She...is not well behaved. she is impossible to take for walks because she doesn't lsiten, and tends to go after other dogs...shes really strong,a nd can pull me to the ground @-@ she knows sit, and I finally managed to teach ehr to lay down ^-^)

~Misc~
-Thor(She, yes she, is a giant 100 lb sulcata/african spurred thigh tortoise. she lives freely in oru backyard. A small child could ride on her back. not kidding. We named her Thor, thinking she was male, but that ended up being the classic "oh...our male pet had babies..." episode...But, she is still thor XD)

-Tortoises(They don't have names. welll, they do, but i don't know who is out there anymore. They live in oru backyard. They are desert tortoises, so not as big as Thor. Or,e ven cose at all to thor. We got te orgiinal 5 from my grandfather when he passed away, ten got another one i can't rememebr how. well, that one and the oldest one started to breed...Most of them ended up dieing during hibernation though, because it got too cold a few nights and they are too big for a tank...)

-The babies (We don't name the baby tortoises we get...there are usually too many, and its hard to tell them apart. We only have one baby sulcata atm, and a few deserts because our main pair died of old age...now the next younger pair has been breeding thogh, but they dont' produc very many babies.)


My plans for the future are to go into computer programming. I love coding, and designing websites/pages/etc. After goign throguh almsot a million different ideas, this is finally the one I feel right with. Everythign else I thoguht about I could find something I didn't like about it. this one doesn't have anything I have found yet that I find unattractive.

eDIT: I forgot to say that Katrina will do whatever Chip does, and doesn't respond to her name...one day there was a huge storm, and he got them out of the yard...she ended up gettign hit by a car, but was so fat that it didn't even leave her with a scratch...she also couldn't get spayed anywhere except a veterinary clinic (like, not at a spay and nuter specialty clinic) because she was too fat...-shakes head-)
