Hello, I'm new here. I'm loving this website already, but I'm a little confused about partying. I believe I need to get party-slots to add more pets to party? Where do I get them?

Also, I understand traps are sold around towns... Is there a list of traps with what rarity they can catch?

If you have any tips on stat-building and proficiency point spending, I'm all ears! XD

Thanks!

Hi there, I'm pretty new, myself, but I may be able to help a bit. In Eisor's Haven, you can add another party slot to your existing one, by going to the Plaza, and check the dude beneath the healer, he can increase your party to two slots.

Traps can be bought in Eisor's Haven, at the Market, ranging from commons to uncommons. Later in the game, you'll unlock other cities, where you can buy upgraded traps. I'm only currently at second zone, so I that's all I know, for now. ^^;

You purchase additional party slots from the Plaza in both towns (Esior's Haven for second slot, Sanctuary of Sarielle for third). You'll have to clear Esior's Haven to reach the Sanctuary, however (minus dungeon, that's considered an extra zone).

The traps escalate the further you get in the game. Esior's Haven has the Lesser Snare traps, the Sanctuary has Standard, and they should continue to upgrade in future cities. Lesser Snare Traps can capture Common and Uncommon Sylesti, while Standard can capture those two in addition to rares. The rule of thumb with traps is the color of the trap can capture up to the rarity of Sylesti in the same color (green = green, blue = blue and below, etc).

As for Level-up and proficiency points? That is entirely up to you how you build your teams. I would personally suggest your main, first party member have high health and defenses, as they will take the brunt of the damage, and let the other two focus on damage dealing (a healer wouldn't hurt either). Strength and Intelligence are equal in what they can do damage-wise, so it's wise to put strength pets on strength based proficiencies and intelligence pets on intelligence based proficiencies. Swapping the two is a disservice and will make it a lot harder (I mean, you don't give magical attacks to the warrior, and you don't hand a mage a sword and shield). The same basic rule applies here. Dexterity can also be your best friend. So it all comes down to what you really want to do; however, for an efficient party, you need to be able to keep it balanced.
