I am trying to start to get more into breeding, and I have noticed that themed and fabled pets sell for more money, but I don't really understand what they are and the difference between them, or how to breed them. For example, if I had a themed pet and bred it with an unthemed pet, would my pet be themed? Can you breed themed pets or only find/buy them?

You might want to post this on the Q & A thread since people there will likely give you better answers.
But a themed pet is a pet with a certain set of colors, to see if a pet is themed scroll down until you see the information of the pet, if the pet is themed it will have either a blue or gold star, the gold star means it is tagged and first generation, the blue star means it is purebred (PB) and and born from two sylestis of the same theme. To breed a themed pet you need to have two pets of the same theme (it doesnt matter if they are tagged or PB). Breeding a themed pet with a non themed pet gets rid of their theme entirely, additionally some people like to dye themed pets. Although you can sell the pets as a seperate Project most people do not consider pets such as this
As themed since although if you click on it and scroll down it has the blue star but does not have the original themes COLORS it is not exactly themed since the whole point of a themed pet is the colors.
As to getting themed pets you can breed them like I said earlier and you can buy them from other people, you can also tame themed pets very rarely in the Lost Grove which is the last adventure zone at the moment, More commonly you can find them in festival zones, and you can also get them bye playing in festivals such as the Fortune fest that we just had.
Fabled pets are more common than themed since they dont refer to specific pets but whole species.if you go to the generator and look at the list of species some of them will have an orange/gold tag under their name that says Fabled Species this mean that while adventuring you will only find them at certain times or at certain festivals. For example if you read the little blurb about the species you can see you can find Griffis in the winter and Lighiras in the summer. You can also find all species including fabled in the festivals, From what I know although they are a bit rarer than say Zolnixis, being fabled doesnt add to much to the price.
