it says i can have 4 trait points but it shows i have 0/0 trait points. is there anything wrong?

because its not using an essnce, it stays 0. Dont worry though, you still do have 4 for your starter.

then how can i use the essence when i make a starter?

you don't use an essence to make a starter- Starter sylesti are special and don't need one.
(it just says /0 because I suppose that bit is programmed to only register if there's an essence loaded. I expect someday Krinadon will think up a way so that during the tutorial it displays /4 for the starter creation, but...)

so i made 0/0 starter pet, so should i ask krinadon for help?

yes- if you know what traits you wanted, you can contact Krinadon. He's pretty willing to help people if they messed up their starter's traits because, well, this is a common problem.
