There was about 45 minutes until the first day of school started, after being postponed about a week due to the traumatic events of the attack

"Tesia, you're going to be late for school if you don't hurry up" Liena scolded her younger sister in Polish, knowing that was the language she was most comfortable with as she pounded on the bathroom door.

"Liena, I'm not in there, it's open, the door is just closed" Tess giggled, her French not the best but easy enough to understand.

Liena turned the knob and sighed. "Thanks, sis" She shook her head as she entered the bathroom to continue getting ready for school.

"I'll meet you outside, then we can walk to school together" Tesia shouted to her sister as she walked down the large stairs into the foyer, then outside.

After 5 minutes of waiting, a glint in the sunlight caught her eye. She curiously wandered over to the large bush where she found a pair of black earrings, and finding them pretty, decided to put them in the small purse she had hanging off her shoulder. She figured she could put them in at school or when she got home.

"Tesia! Sorry I took so long, lets get going!" Liena told her sister, grabbing her arm and pulling her along

Darcey sighed, then knocked on the bathroom door, ''Juniper? Sweetie? You gotta come out of there...you are gonna be late!'' She spoke hastily in Russian.

Juniper giggled behind the door, ''Ok, grandma!'' She opened the door, amber eyes sparkling with excitement. She was dressed in light washed shorts, a white to blue fading t-shirt, and a white cardigan tied around her waist. Her hair was frizzy and curly.

''All ready!'' She squealed.

''Alright, I'll make a small breakfast for you. In the mean time, go grab your backpack.'' Darcey spoke, then walked into the kitchen.

Juniper gave a nod and ran into the living room, which was mostly clean aside from a few scattered books and papers. She quickly picked them up and stuffed them into her bag, which a sudden glint caught her eye.

She looked over and spotted a bee clip casually sitting on the windowsill, outside of the window. She went over and opened the window, grabbing the clip and sticking it into her hair.

''Ok! Come get your breakfast and go!'' Darcey called from the kitchen.

Juniper bolted in, grabbed the piece of toast, and ran out the door, leaving her grandma quite impressed with her speed.

Artus woke up at 6 am ever morning to get ready and make breakfast. "Mother are you awake" he said in Irish Gaelic knocking on her door. When there was no answer he opened the door to her room to find her sitting by the window. "good morning mother." he said to her " Ill be heading to school." he told her before quietly leaving her room. He opened the door to leave his flat when he noticed something orange on the ground. "Is that a necklace ?"Artus asked him self before picking it up and putting it in his pocket and heading to school.

After a somewhat long walk, Liena and Tesia arrived at the large school.

*Tesia, since Im in a different grade, Im going to a different part of the school, over there* Liena explained. *Your grade is over in this wing of the school, meet me back out here when the day is finished so we cant walk home together, if anything changes* Liena told her sister, giving her a hug *Stay safe... I love you* she whispered in Chinese

*Bye Li* Tess said to her sister as she walked off, heading into the somewhat intimidating building. It was her first year of high school, and it was in a completely new country too, which made the whole experience that much more horrifying. She had been practicing her French for a few years now (As her aunt, uncles, and cousins were all French) but she had never needed to be completely fluent until now.

She checked her schedule and quickly found her locker and opened it without much difficulty and quickly put her stuff away

Artus arrived at the school and looked down at his schedule to find his locker. When he finally found his locker he opened it and put his stuff inside. When he closed his locker he looked to his left and saw Tess. " Hi im Artus." he said to her in french

*ah, hello! My name is Tess!* she introduced herself. *I just recently moved to France, sorry if my French is not too very great* She apologized as she closed her locker. *It is very nice to meet you Artus* she said with a smile

Juniper hopped to the duo, eyes sparkling, ''Hi hi! Sorry for interrupting your coversation, but I heard you were new!!!! My name is Juniper!'' She rambled, giggling. She had a habit of doing this to new students..a lot.

Her curly brown hair bobbed as she bounced in place.

Just as he was about to respond to Tess a girl with curly brown came over to them and introduced her self as Juinper. "Oh hi Juniper im Artus." he said to her.
