Lycan is a word that has come from lycanthropy, which comes from Greek lycanthropes. Lycanthropy is also a term that has a modern reference to mental illness. It is a mental illness in which a person believes that he or she has been transformed into an animal. Such persons behave like an animal.

He walks into the throne room, his cape trailing behind him. He sits on the throne, resting his hands on the arms of the chair as he sits straight with his chin held high. He watches the guards shove four men into the room, they all seem to feel the powerful aurora of their king, seeming to know what was about to happen to them.

Akira Stepped out of her cave that she uses for shelter and gently ran her hand down her golden eagles feathers, smiling at the feel of their smoothness under hand without a feather out of place. "Good morning Xerxes, I hope you slept well." The massive bird clicked his beak in his normal greeting. "Why don't you go ahead and hunt for you some breakfast? I'll be here when you get back." He stretched out his wings before taking off from his sleeping branch. Akira went to the coolest part of her cave and grabbed a rabbit that was killed a couple days before. The meat was still fresh so she grabbed her two pieces of flint to start a fire to cook the rabbit meat over.
