Green means carries the trait.
Blue means only has the trait.
Purple means has and carries the trait.
So your Ny'Vene hatchling will:
Carry Leopard Spots,
Have Magma Runes,
Have Nebula,
Have and carry Frozen Spikes,
Have and carry Ram Horns,
Carry Demonic Essence
Look at the post below because apparently I'm wrong.

uuuuh, what? "Have and carry" one trait?
Sylesti use basic Mendelean+Punnett Square genetics for inheritance, so each pet has two "genetic markers" or "alleles"- "Trait points" in site terms- per trait slot.
In an empty slot, this is NN- nothing.
Green is Carries the trait. This means the trait is only carried via the genetics and not visible on the pet, and it's a 50/50 chance if this pet passes on N (nothing) or _ (the trait). Cannot be seen in the genetics section if the pet isn't genetested (but is still there) just shows up as NN.
In this Ny'vene's case G1 and M3 are Carried traits- it can pass on but doesn't show Leopard Spots and Demonic Essence
Looks like: NA, NR, ND
Blue is a Visible trait, and can be seen on the pet's art. If a trait is blue on a genetested pet like this one, then the pet will 100% pass on the genetics of the trait in question (what shows up on the offspring is down to what it gets from the other parent in that slot)
In this Ny'vene's case, G2 Magma Runes and G3 Nebula are Visible,
Looks like: AA, SS, CC
Purple is called a Hidden trait. if a pet hasn't been genetested, you cannot see the full genetics in the trait slot and it shows up as if it were a Blue trait (but again the genetics that make it a Hidden trait are still there.)
Hidden traits are when there is a second, less dominant trait located in the same trait slot as a more dominant Visible trait, as with Carried traits (where the Dominant trait is N (nothing))
Letters are more dominant the closer they fall to A in the alphabet (excepting N, which is the most dominant as 'nothing')
It is a 50/50 if the pet passes on the visible, dominant trait or the hidden trait.
In the vene's case it has
Mutation One: (FI) Frozen Spikes
Mutation Two: (BD) Ram Horns
or, M1 (F) Frozen Spikes, but carries the genetics of (I) Essence of Flame
and
M2, (B) Ram Horns, but carrying the genetics of (D) Frozen Horns
Looks like: AB, DS, LQ
We have some more writing on the matter here (link to Post 10, scroll down slightly for the bit on Trait Inheritance)

It just takes learning, especially if you aren't used to either the site or to genetics in general. Now you do know, and isn't new knowledge nice?

I didn't understand half of what your post was saying...
School has honestly fried my brain. I've been having problems understanding simple things because my school makes everything harder than it needs to be.

Basically (in tested pets):
Black = Nothing = Offspring can only have Nothing or a Carried trait in the slot
Green = carry = pet has but doesn't show the trait and has 50/50 chance of passing it on to offspring
Blue = visible = trait is seen on the pet art, has 100% chance of passing on the genetics
Purple = hidden = pet has a visible trait, but has the genetics of a second trait that can't be seen on the pet art. 50/50 chance of passing down either trait to offspring.
Letters: N is most dominant, but after that it's A>B>C>D>etc, becoming less dominant with every letter of the alphabet.
Dominant trait is always the Vis in Hidden traits.
The second letter in the genetics of a Hidden trait tell you what the unseen trait is- if you go to the generator, you see each trait has a letter next to it, that's the trait's letter.
So this vene has BD in M2.
The B is Ram Horns trait, and the visible one, the D is the Frozen Horns trait, the hidden one
(honestly I am just. Very Very Bad at being Concise so I maybe have an issue when it comes to making text walls)
