I am thinking i may wait till they are maxed and reverting a few couples to new version and keeping some older too. I would love your opinions. Thank you so much <3

I like the changed golden foil. The original has highlights that look kinds yellow-green. And I like the added brown on the body for the new one.

For the Elven, that is tough! I'm thinking original. I like the darker body more and I don't know if I like all the red and the orange underbelly on the new one.

I have a question of my own for you! I can't decide either:

New Theme: omg, why copper/orange? I died....




with a dye on A1 because copper....yeah. I like the wing contrast and dark vines on this one more than the unchanged. However, I like the dark underbelly in the original.



If I use a second dye on C2, not sure though....



I don't know that I want to use 4 dyes to get a breeding pair all situated. Maybe stick with the A1 dyed pet. Whatcha think? I'm also going to wait until I have them maxed and 6 vis before I update their colors, if I decide to do it at all. No going back once you do! Lol

Hmm see thats the thing. I dont like the new version and using dyes to "fix" a design isnt good. I know leaving the design till after i reach max may not be something can do xD that button is already tempting, You need to consider the fact that if you dye a pair their offspring wont have a pet to breed with. What you could do is update a breeder in a pair and see what results that RNG give you. Might give you a result you like better. would it be considered "tainted" by older users though? hmmmmmmm

I agree about the dyes thing. I wish I had noticed the copper before, but it wasn't really visible in the design that was posted. My bad for not checking it closer.

I'm definitely going to keep a maxed 6 vis breeding pair original/old theme. And I'm definitely going to turn a maxed 6v pair into the new theme. And I will have to get rid of that copper because it kills the theme for me. I just don't know if I want to do that other dye as well, for the black underbelly. Ugh, decisions! Lol

I mean, I might take some offspring that would normally be released and update to the new theme. Then try breeding old to new and see what colors come out (separate from the main project). I'm pretty picky with my A1 color, but I think C2 would turn out nicely without dye. Hmmm....... And yeah, mixing the old and new seems like it would be tainted (similar to using dyes because the colors may be pretty off). Thats why I would keep a pair original, and let the new owners decide what they want to do with the baby.

So many things to consider! At any rate, I'm still working on 6v, and will stay away from that button lol

I think that when doing a maxed design you should give people the choice. I checked the changes with my chosen traits when i saw that ve and gf were on the list. The gf are a little one note in their old version while i love the changes but i am aware that not everyone will love them. So having considered the options i think that i will leave both projects upto future owners discretion. The ve changes are very red now and its pretty but i love love love the old version

That sounds like a good plan! :) At least we get a choice on new vs old theme, that is nice.

i definitely agree. I remember on neopets they changed the way their pets looked and alot of them were automatically changed to the new version
