i'm not really sure if this is known or not but i've noticed that when i'm on the new site format i don't get notifications [i.e. the red on the explore bar] i know your should get them from the little avatar box on the top but they don't seem to ever show up. is that still under construction? or is it just me?

Still under construction, except for Forum Pings.

Instead of the navigation bar lighting up, they appear in the information box at the top right.

You should for Pings (The blue '@' symbol). Like, I am pinging you with this message. So next to the '@' symbol should read a green '1'. Like this:

@ 1

Then, you can click that to take you right to the Forums. At the top of every Forum page will be a list of your pings if you have any. You can then see who it's from and what thread you were pinged in. Click the name of the thread link to view the post that pinged you.


Edit: And I just checked the Database after sending this ping and can confirm that you are indeed receiving them.
