So I've not had space in my stables for a long time, and have had a good amount of pets in my hatchery since my tabs filled up. I had the "auto-release un-named adults" option UN-CHECKED, because I knew I could either wait and auction off pets if I did not get the money I needed for more room, or just wait until I could purchase a new tab or two. However, upon returning after a few days, I am certain some pets have disappeared from my hatchery.

Why is this, and is there a way to remedy this? Many of the pets lost were to be used in my breeding projects, or promised to other users as soon as they had room as well.

Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

The hatchery is just a temporary holding place for young pets, and pets automatically leave your hatchery when they reach adulthood. Normally they would go into your stables, but because your stables are full they have no where to go, and so they are released.

That check box option is there for people who have room in their stables but want their hatchery pets to release anyway. It was added in for people who have lots of breeding projects and did not want to individually release all of the failure offspring.

If there are specific pets you know of that were released you can ask Krin and he might restore them for you, however you still won't be able to get them until you have room for them in your stables.

^ What Ash said.

Try reading this thread (scroll up a little for the stable space bit)

Thank you both!

Drat, though. Is there a way to get the URLs of pets formerly in your hatchery?

If you mean the ones that have been released, just find them in your account overview notifications; it should provide a link to the pets that have been released. (Just click on account>overview)

Actually I'm not so sure it does that with auto released pets. I think you only get a notification if you manually released it. I might be wrong so it doesn't hurt to check, but if you don't find anything in your notifications that may be why. The pets profile page isn't deleted though when a pet is released, it just changes the owner to "released" so if you know their pet ID's or named any of them you could find them that way.
