The King of Ethernia has proven to be a cruel and ineffectual ruler to his subjects. Not only does he ignore the plight of his citizens by refusing to do anything about the dangers infecting his lands, but he refuses to even meet with any of the warriors or adventurers who seek his permission in order to help. He has not appeared in public for years! The princess is the closest we've gotten to him but even she is rarely free.

Not only that, but he has recently ordered an invasion of the last natural habitat inside his borders. Rare magical creatures live their and, under his orders, his soldiers have been slaughtering all that they can find. The resistance movement that opposes his rule has lived in harmony there for years with the local fauna but even they can't hold back his invasion of this sacred zone.

Clearly, he's gone too far. We have to stop him before he destroys his land and his country!
