If you got the pet in question via the Sylesti Brewing activity, yes (not sure about pets received by creating, then using, a Handful Of Candy). A set of additives called blood vials guarantees the presence of one (Lesser Blood Vial), two (Greater Blood Vial), or three (Exceptional Blood Vial) visible traits (including mutations) in a pet created using the above-mentioned method. Let me give you an example using one of the two pets I got that way. This is my Dusky Dawn Zolnixi, Tehnatsu:

As you can see, if you look at the post on the Fall Festival here, https://www.sylestia.com/forums/?thread=68111, he differs from the default Dusky Dawn Zolnixi considerably, including in coloration. Most importantly, though, he has the Butterfly Wings mutation. The default one, OTOH, male or female, has no wings of any kind. The reason for the difference? During my Tehnatsus creation, a Lesser Blood Vial was added to the brew, ergo, his one visible trait ended up being the above-mentioned mutation.

In other words, assuming you got your Ryori via the Sylesti Brewing activity, at one point, you (or another player who helped you out) probably added a Greater Blood Vial to your brew. So instead of, say, just the Dolphin trait, he ended up with that trait and the Jesters Crest mutation.

I'm not... entirely clear on what you're asking, but

a) that is a player made thread for the purposes of recording the pet themes available during that fest for referencing purposes. The traits on the pets were chosen, I'd assume, at random, or whichever ones the person who made the thread thought looked nice.

b) themed pets can have any traits at all, with the exceptions:
1- Regular, non-majestic pets cannot have Restricted traits unless said trait has been deliberately Disrupted onto them
2- Majestic pets can only have traits from their own Restricted trait set (Restricted/Majestic Guide here)


A Theme is an official site colouration set. All pets within a species of a specific theme will share roughly the same colours (with small amounts of colour swing), but their genes and mutations are completely random.


Wild-caught Themed pets can be any rarity Rare of higher (meaning they will have either 2TP, 4TP, 6TP, or 8TP)
Exclusives have TP count correlating with their creation- First place winners of the Boards get 3-vis, runner-ups get 2-vis, pets made via Fest Activities depend on the additives for TP (you can also select trait slots, but the trait you get from those slots is still random.)


eg. all these lunes are the same theme- Moonlit Sea Lunemara (exclusive theme, greater blood used to ensure 2v)



Raspberry Creams obtained from candy handfuls are also completely random, but are always 2v (here are our two for comparison)
