So, I know the basics about disruptors, ut I have a specific question- is it possible for a trait disruptor to cover up an already "exclusive" trait? Specifically, if I use a Frosted Kitsune Luffox one on a Luffox with all vis Foo Dog traits, would it be possible for, say, the Foo Dog ears to become Frosted Kitsune ears?
(because I just really don't like the foo dog ears :c)

No. Restricted trait disruptors can only change non-restricted visible traits (and are not guaranteed to be the same slot as the trait is changes unless all other slots are filled with carries or other restricted traits). If a pet has all restricted traits, the disruptor won't work at all. You also can't use a restricted disruptor on a pet that already has a restricted trait from that set.
