A letter from Professor Clarissa:
Welcome, lucky student, to Shifter Academy. You will have one normal creature, which you will be taught to shift into. As you get more advanced, you will learn to shift into your magical creature. Please fill out the following application. I hope to see you at the academy. Good luck.

A happy grin sat on Elliott's face as he stood next to Clarissa, awaiting the arrival of the students. He had his arms folded over his chest as his eyes sparkled with unknown mischief and joy. The first day of school was always his favorite.

Colton walked at a painfully slow pace, earbuds in his ears as he listened to his portable CD player. His hands were in his pockets as he made his way into the courtyard. He looked around, taking out a single earbud as he searched for where he was supposed to be.

Autumn walked into the courtyard and sat down on an empty bench. She played with a piece of her long, dark hair, something she did when she was nervous. She always hated going places where there weren't people she knew already. She pulled out her phone, wanting to play a game or something to keep her busy. She frowned at her phone. No Service. Autumn sighed, and put her phone away, and continued to play with her hair.

Artemis stumbled into the courtyard, attempting to refrain from bumping into other people. She had a piece of wood in her hand and her knife in the other. she found a lonely corner and began to chip away at the wood. It was half done and was going to be a wolf. She became absorbed into the wood and neglected her surroundings.
