I'm still pretty new too. But I kinda found it easy to navigate if you mean on the world map it's sure hard at the start but when you unlock Ethernia than there's a change. You might experience the change if you are going to participate in the fall fest
You can find wild ryori during that time...They are fabled...
Do you want I name those that are fabled?
One is a lost grove exclusive and you will take while to get there...
Yes, I got the lost grove before my two months, but that because I joined during summer. so yeah...And started school later because I have had a jaw surgery. :) So yeah...

Fables, pets are species that are exclusive, to a certain season or region...There is, for now, 2 or 3 that is a fable region exclusive I think. Just check the list of species on the generator.
Like Nyvern are only available through purchases on the advanced search and can be really expansive and only responsible in the Arena (you won't have access to it until a while)

Also, the surgery didn't hurt since they made me sleep...But after it did heart, but it doesn't hurt anymore...I should say almost not at all. But it depends on the temperature so yeah. :)
