The Kings And Queens Of Old
Your royal cortier comes rushing in, flustered and upset. He must repeat the words he is saying over and over again for them to sink in.
"The Everfire has decreed every Queen, and King shall be stripped of their titles." He tries to continue, but you stop him with an angry, "Give me five minutes to take it in."
You march back to your room, slamming the door behind you. Beginning to weep, you can't help but cry out, "Why in Varda's name did this happen? What would happen to my people? My kingdom?"
The courtier knocks on the door, "Your Majesty, there's more!"
"Tell me through the door!"
He sighs, audibly frustrated. "You must compete in the unnamed continent for your title."
You couldn't breathe... you were in shock.
He continues, "In order to become a Queen or King once more, you must fight and become the one and only one left, then you will rule all the kingdoms. The Everfire will give this person all the power it has left, and will proceed to leave this world forevermore."
You slowly open the door to face him, your voice shaking, but with rage now. "The throne will be mine," you tell him. "What must I do?"
His eyes widen. "Get a weapon. Survive...
Rule."
V O C A B U L A R Y
Everfire - the mystical white flame which burns on a temple upon the highest peak. Gifts powers and occasionally gives orders.
Messengers - the few gifted individuals who can understand the Everfire and announce its orders.
Gifted Power - the power given to a King or Queen when they are crowned. Stronger than a Born Power. These powers do not go away when the titles are stripped away. If a King or Queen has a child, this power may or may not be passed down. This can only be used occasionally, or the strain of power will become to great and you will die.
Born Power - the power that runs in a family and is passed down, slowly growing weaker.

- If you address a Queen or King by their former rank, you will burst into flames -
- If you die, you die. One King and one Queen will win in the end -

Could you clarify something for me? I want to know if you decide who wins, or if we slowly kill eachother of in the rp with no limmitations of who we target.

Appearance: Xara has long brown hair that is usually in a dutch braid. She has fair skin and makes a point not to wear any makeup. She likes to wear purple clothes, preferably something that is easy to move around in. When Xara still had a title, she would wear highly embroidered clothing with her kingdoms insignia on it. The insignia of her former kingdom was an griffin with its claws up. Although not a queen anymore, Xara tries to find clothes that have patterns on them, as she thinks plain clothes are bland and distasteful.
Personality: Xara is haughty, but also cares a lot for people and doesn't like it when people are in pain. Xara has a hard time making friends, and is slow to trust anyone, whether it be a family member or a complete stranger. However, once Xara trusts you, she is very loyal and forgiving. Xara judgemental and is quick to assume things. This makes her a bad judge of character, seeing as first impressions have a lasting impression on her. Once Xara has set her mind on something, it is very hard to deter her from achieving that goal.
Backstory: Xara was born into the royal family but had to take over the throne when she was only fifteen. Although she wasnt that young, her father hadnt taught her anything, so she had to learn on the job. This affected her and made her realize that the people were relying on her. Now she has a soft spot for anyone who needs help. Despite this, Xara has had some moments where her prejudice has gotten the better of her. Because of that, Xara is now considered evil by her people for sentencing a few innocent people to death.
Weapon: glave (look it up, it's really cool)
Born Power: the ability of psychokinesis
Gifted Power: flight
Other: I like milk chocolate. Not really much to say about that.

Characters will be slowly killed off. You may attack anyone, but a RGN will decide if your attack succeeds. 1-5 is fail, 6-10 is success.

Please use correct grammar and have 6+ sentences each on Personality and Backstory. An image is preferred for Appearance, but if not, 6+ sentences as well.
