In Grand Canyon National Park resides an elusive wolf pack. Oh, so you say there are no wolves in the park?That's swhat you think, human. This wolf pack has flourished for years and has now grew into a strong, independent pack.
-Customs And Traditions-
1. During summer months all pack members must migrate to Havasu Falls (Google Havasu Falls if you're not sure what it is, it's quite a stunning scene)
2. During winter fall, and spring months all pack members must stay in the Grand Canyon territory.
3. During a full moon night the pack will celebrate in a group howl.
4. Every member must warship the spirit ancestors.
5. Mother wolves will name their pups. Once pups are grown and put through the Time of Growing ritual, they shall choose their own names.
6. Time of Growing ritual: Once a pup is fully grown (1 year of age), they will offer an object to the spirit ancestors. Once this object has been excepted by the ancestors, the pups must gaze into the night sky and choose a name for themselves.
7. During spring months, alpha's can possibly upgrade or degrade a Wolf's pack status.
8. When wolves are moved up in the ranks in a bulk, a ceremony will be held to congratulate these wolves. This is called The Running Paws ceremony.
9. If the abuse of a omega turns physical, the two wolves (ie: the omega and challenging wolf) will be put through a challenging fight. See rule number 10.
10. A challenging fight: When a lower rank challenges a higher rank for their position. The higher ranked wolves are allowed to decline, however if they except, the two wolves will fight. Whom ever submits first will take the lower rank. If neither submits before it turns fatal, then the surviving wolf will take the higher rank.
11. The Night of the Four Stars: A night when four bright stars align, this signifies the middle of summer. This is when all wolves become equal in rankings. This day will be full of celebrating and fun, as all burdens drop. Some wolves will be assigned to patrol during the celebration.

-Wolf Gods + Goddesses-
Galadriel
Goddess of the night, the moon, and the spirit of the pack. Galadriel is pure white with silver eyes, and the queen of the wolf gods.
Solaris
The god of the sun, fire, rebirth, and battle. Red pelted, golden eyed, and brothsr to Galadriel. King of the wolf gods.
Rowennia
Goddess of evil, corruption, darkness, and rot. She is black with a ruined, scarred face and empty eye sockets. Most feared and least worshipped.
Ellesmera
Goddess of fertility, live, nautre, and peace. With a creamy gold pelt sleckled with dark brown, green-eyed Ellesmera is one of the most important goddesses.
Mather
God of earth, stone, and the Canyon itself, Mather has a pelt with every color of stone and sky blue eyes.
-Pack Laws-
1. Alpha's Word is law, regardless of the situation.
2. If a wolf is found disrespecting the Spirit Ancestors, they will be punished. The level of the punishment will be based on the level of the wolf's past actions.
3. Respect all higher ranks.
4. All food must be taken to the food pile, if found storing uneaten food, a wolf will be punished.
5. All wolves must follow traditions and customs.
6. You may not eat while hunting, while this is disrespectful to wolves in the th pack this also prevents the pack from experiencing starvation.

-Rank Descriptions-
Alpha:
Leader of the pack. Most dominate wolves, their word is law. The pair must be mates. First born pup will the position when the alpha pair dies.
Beta:
Second in command. These wolves will take on the duties of the alpha's when they are gone. They are in charge of organizing hunting parties. The pair will not have to be mates, however they can be.
Deltas:
Third in command. These wolves will be responsible of the beta's duties (along with they're duties) when they betas must deal with the alpha's. They are in charge of organizing patrols. The pair will not have to be mates, however they can be.
Lead Hunters:
These wolves will lead any group hunts.
Hunters:
In charge of providing food for the pack.
Lead warriors:
These wolves lead group patrols, will also lead any parties that are formed to hunt large predators.
Warriors:
In charge of protecting the pack, each must patrol twice a day (one during day, and one during night)
Pups:
Wolves under the age of one.
Mothers:
Wolves pregnant with pups, or nursing pups. These wolves can continue doing their duties for their rank until it becomes too much of a burden. When these wolves are temporarily out of their duty, they will assign someone from a lower rank to continue their duties until they become capable again.
Unrankeds:
Wolves over the age of one who have not yet proven themselves worthy to be a full hunter or warrior; however, they do hunt, but are only allowed to take down small game like rabbits and similar. They may not participate in the hunting of elk or deer. They may take mates.
Omegas:
The lowest ranking wolves in a pack. In charge of pup sitting when mother wolves must do their duties for their rank. Omegas are not allowed to have mates until they have ranked up.

-Rules-
1. My Word is Law (And the alpha's)
2. This RP is semi-literate to literate. Please type 6+ sentences and have proper grammar and punctuation. (Please do not put "Short" or "Short, will get longer" on just about every post. We all know that you guys are capable of write 6+ sentences even without interaction from another character.)
3. Please keep all romance MxF
4. Please keep everything realistic, as a fully a grown male wolf has a hard enough time killing a fully grown deer, let alone a fully grown elk. As it's hard enough for a group of wolves to take down one fully grown elk., therefore it would be perilous for one wolf to try to kill one.
5. No Gary/Mary sues. Look it up if you don't know what it is.
6. No OP characters.
7. No power play of any kind.
8. No god modding of any kind.
9. Follow all of the regular RP rules.
10. Please keep all characters original, I'd hate to decline a sign up if it's a copy of someone else's character.
11. Keep all appearances realistic, as a wolf will not be six feet tall on four legs, weigh over 400 pounds, and have four inch claws.
12. You can play up to 2 characters. Both must not have high ranks, as it would be unfair if one was an alpha male and the other a beta female.
13. Please put Elk in other if you read the rules

Kali gently jumped off the rock she had been sitting on, her paws touching the ground with little to no noise. Her light fur whipped around her as the chilly morning breeze. There were few plants around, so the wind managed to hit her. However, she was also more used to it now.
She lifted her nose up to sniff the air, then began to trot farther off, away from the other wolves. She would just take a quick check of the surroundings and hopefully be able to report to Akira, the Lead Warrior, that everything was okay. Carefully and quietly she walked.

Aspen was still asleep, her light grey fur following the rise and fall of her side as she breathed. Her paws twitched as she heard a little movement around her, and that led to her finally waking up. Her eyes slowly cracked open and she took in the light.
The little grey pup squealed slightly and put a paw over her nose and eyes- the size managed to cover both -and tried to force herself back to sleep. "I don't want to wake up!" She whined to her siblings, Ash and Rowan, if they were even listening to her. "My eyes hurt!"

His ears twitched as he sat atop a flat rock. It was comfortable and he had been sitting there for hours, waiting for the other wolves so he could ask Kadara if he was permitted to take a hunting party out around this time. His golden yellow eyes swept the surroundings to see if anyone would come speak to him. He felt rather lonely, though he would never admit it.
