So I went to the breeding grounds I have a male and a female of the same species.. it lets me select the male, but for some reason I can't select the female..?
Does anyone have an explanation to this?

It could be one of two things:
. The female isnt an adult yet. Both individuals have to be adults before they can be bred.
. They are very closely related. That is, parent & offspring, siblings, and I dont think cousins can be bred, either. But I might be wrong about that.
If its not either of those things, then in all likelihood, its an error that you need to let one of the site maintainers know about.

Your female Sapphire is still an adolescent. Only adults can breed.

No problem 8). Just got an answer about whether cousins can breed from looking in another thread. Thats fine. Its only parents & offspring and siblings (including step/half siblings) who cant be bred together.
