I need help defeating Talon's pet Vulnyxs, What do I need to do to defeat them, /i have tried all of my high level pets and still can't defeat him.

There isn't anything specific you need to do, the best thing I could suggest is to level up a bit more, make sure you are using armour that boosts stats recommended for your pet's element AND matches your pet's current level

Yeah, levelling up a bit more helps! Also, have you gotten your second party slot in Esior's Haven yet? (in the plaza)
Having two pets makes things much easier!

You don't need to bump (actually you shouldn't bump) unless the thread disappears from the first page.
