Pain, it seemed as if all there was is pain as the darkness slowly faded away. There is a slight rattle of chains as you stir, the weight of the shackles making your wrists heavy. Slowly your eyes open. Around you are four other people, each gagged with their hands tied behind their backs much like yours. Beyond that is the door to the cell in which you are all locked in. A loud bang is heard as the door opens and angry footfall makes its way toward you all. Suddenly the door to the cell was thrown open and a group guards enters picking each of you up before forcing you down the hall. As you reach the throne room you are lined up with the rest, then forced to kneel before the person on the throne. There is a moment of silence before a females voice breaks it. "This can't be right. Are you sure that all of them were involved?" The guards nod to her and she looks back to the prisoners before her. There was a look of confusion written all over her face as she studied each face. "Release them."
"But miss-"
"I said release them, I will speak to them all when they are guests of my court and not prisoners." With that you and the others are freed of your shackles yet now are surrounded by the guards that were in the room. "Look at you all...so young. How could anyone that young bring about the end of the world? I do not know yet it has happened right before my eyes. Tell me what did you do? How did you open the The Gate?" The Gate was the only thing keeping the undead and monsters of the underworld from making their way up to the surface. It was guarded by The Keeper, a large animal that let no one pass not even the king and Queen. Upon the mere mention of The Gate your hand burned, casting a colored glow about the room. When looking to the others theirs did the same, each hand a different color. "The Four be praised...these are not our enemies but our saviors sent from the gods themselves..."

Base Story:
The Gate, a shrine kept guarded by a beast called The Keeper, has been opened allowing undead and anything else in the underworld to reach the surface. You are one of four that are able to stop and fix this problem, though not alone. You all have to work together to push the undead back, or the whole world will be lost.

Colors/Powers:

-Blue: Able to create pure energy that resembles lightning. Though it doesn't deal much damage it stuns enemies, and is able knock back larger threats. Effects up to three enemies at a time.

-Red: Able to use command the very blood that runs in their veins. It works much like water bending, though with blood. Effects one target at a time.

-Green: Able to summon green flames to burn enemies. It deals a lot of damage but can't be used that often due to the amount of magic they take to create. They effect a large radius of targets.

-Purple: Able to conjure spirits to help in a fight, mainly for distraction. Spirits can't harm undead but they can destract them. Spirits can harm Living threats though. Effects one to two targets at a time.
