The five factions: Rebels (Red), Pets (Blue), Savages (Yellow, marked orange for visibility), Neutral (Gray), Thrown (Bolded)

Rebels
Leader: Sweetrainbow
About: The Rebels are the Sylesties that do not want an owner ruling over them. They believe in freedom, and will fight for their beliefs. This started after Sweetrainbow saw the total command that her owner had on the poor creatures.

Pets
Leader: Starr
About: When the Rebels were gathering those who would support their cause, the Pets saw through this and plainly argued that owners were needed, as they were fed by them. They fight for the owner, and if they win, they will follow their owners' rules.

Savages
Leader: Scarf
About: They believe that owners are there to provide money and that's it. They want a power system where the leader chooses who'll lead after them, everyone is trained, and those who mate will supply future soldiers. They are the friendliest to the neutrals, and steal the young on the thrown. They fight with the Rebels and Pets.

Neutrals
About: They side with no one (although the Savages are the friendliest with them). They are the healers. There is one Sylesti with prophetic dreams, and she tells all fractions them.

Thrown

These are the ones that break the rules of their faction, and are thrown out (Hence the name). They don't fight.

Rules of the factions
1. Never mate outside of your faction or you'll both be thrown.
2. Always support your faction.
3. A Thrown hatchling may choose a faction.
4. If you mated before the war, you may mate again, but you must become neutrals.

Chapter One

It seemed like it would never end. The maze seemed to go on forever. Although I had gotten to the end, when I had, I wish I didn't.

Scarf stood proudly, surrounded by the Trained and by those in chains. He laughed, looking at those chained down. I noticed Frostedtips chained down, scars across his face. He found me standing, and began to cry. His tears were red, forming a river of...

"No!" I screamed, waking up from the nightmare. "Why? Why?"

Tears rolled down my cheeks like rivers. I cried, and cried.

"P-please n-no!"
