Edit: this seems to only be affecting me
The Researcher who usually stands next to the grove behemoth is no longer there (I think this happened right after the update)
Here's a picture (and he's not to the right of what can be seen, either)

Captain Rylak and the Ethernian Scout are also missing. None of the elites/named seem to be appearing, and I haven't seen any treasure chests either. I exited the lost grove, and came back about an hour later and everyone is still missing.
I can interact with the grove behemoth, however.
I also can't get into the barracks: ("interact" is grayed out, and the only move option is down)
