I like the whole CoD system and the return item system too, really nice :) . But, could there possibly be a way to cancel a trade? Like, if you're trying to send someone an item, but you made a slight typo on their name or something..

"No big deal, just message the new recipient and tell them about your mistake."

Ok.... What if said recipient no longer actively plays the game? Now you have no way of getting your item back until they, if ever, decide to log on or until the trade expires on its own.(which, trade expires aren't part of the game, currently) :\

"What if this is abused during trades?"

1. There could be some kind of set time limit on when you can cancel the trade
2. That would be a scam if someone canceled a trade after receiving the other person's item, anyway, so they could be reported. :p
3. There can be a market trade system that, when two players arrange a trade, both parties must agree/accept the trade before any items are delivered, to ensure that nobody gets scammed.
Example1:
User A and User B arranged a trade. Both parties sent items(or a COD, which can still be COD of nothing, but will have to be accepted). User A accepts User B's item but User B cancels the trade (for whatever reason). User B gets their item back, and User A also gets their item back. -end of trade-

Example2:
User C wants to send a trade to User D, but misspells their name and accidentally sends the trade to User E. User E is not an active player, and cannot return the item to User C. User C can cancel the trade and get their item back (since User E didn't send an item or accept the trade, it will not affect them), or User C can wait 24hours for the trade to expire on its own. (Wait time could be shorter or longer as the Admins see fit, of course).

This trading idea could be a safety net for when you're sending items to people who are not on your contacts list. So you can have quick trade(the current trading system) for people you know and trust, and the safety net trade for people that you just met or just want to make a trade with.

Here's a super solution! Lets do something where we send the person an offer to trade an item, but in order to do so they must not only accept this, but offer something, ranging from nothing to something. the info goes back to you, asking if you accept the offer from your item. This is a serious of accepting but if the person were to become inactive during this trade you won't loose your item unless they trade your item to you. we should do this with diamonds as well. the item is not given up until the final acceptance. this prevent stealing. and if the player is inactive, the offer will be closed in a week or when the item had left the players inventory. this prevents the person with the item from being aggravated about not being able to sell the item, and gives the other player a week to respond, incase they are busy.

My idea was a solution to avoid needing to wait for the offer to expire on its own... >.> So, if you made a typo on the username and the person you sent it to is inactive, now you have to wait until the offer expires to send the item to the right person. Needing to wait that period could become problematic during a trade, don't you think?

As I said, I'm sure that once the Inventory and Trade pages are revamped that there will be more features available - such as the ability to cancel mail sent or have it returned after a period of time.
