with 'exclude recovering' ticked.
they don't show up in their species' dropdown (I'm only noticing it with my two lighira) but they are showing up in the all species dropdown

This happens to me too,
But they go away when you select the actually species,

It's because they're Fabled. Since you aren't selecting a specific species, it's using the default recover time of 3 days. Yet Fabled species have a recovery time of 7 days. So if your female is between 3 and 7 days it will show up in the "All Species" list.
Unfortunately, given how the breeding grounds is coded, I can't really easily change it at this time.
I will be sure to avoid this from happening when the generate page gets recoded.
