I've been working on Aryth's Spire all day. Does the mirror you go into matter? The different room colors, do they matter? Or should I just keep guessing randomly and hoping for the best?

For me, left left right right right left worked. I think you need to get to the gold corridor in order to get the wizard guy. There may be other mays, you could try making a map to help get around.
