"Miss DeRosen, I recommend you go back to your seat." The irritated teacher said to the brunette in front of her.
Nicole- the angry girl she had just spoken to -let out another annoyed huff. "It wasn't my fault that I'm in detention now. Like, seriously, don't y'all want kids to use their voice and be honest and all that stuff? I was voicing my opinion. See, I shouldn't be in here." The teacher glared more and finally she gave up. Nicole sat back down at the desk at the back of the classroom, beside Connor Novak.
"DeRosen, I told you." He flipped his hair dramatically, sighing and resting his chin on his hand. "She won't let you out. No matter what you try."

"Sooo... what're you guys in for?" Venus asked, deciding to attempt making conversation, trying to beat the boredom of detention. She was sitting on the other side of Nicole, right next to the windows, perfect for staring off into space while she waited

Nicole kicked her feet up on her desk, still very obviously peeved. "We were supposed to have cheer tryouts tomorrow because one of the girls on my team got sick. Coach canceled them and we needed a new member for the competition next week, but apparently I wasn't allowed to complain."
"Your complaining included insulting the Cheer Coach, darling." Connor drawled, mimicking her and putting his feet up as well.
The brunette narrowed her eyes, putting her feet down after he had copied her. "At least I wasn't caught writing new lines for the play."
"It needed some more flair!" Connor defended. He turned to Venus. "What about you then?"

No one appreciates a good joke anymore. Asha whined, more to herself than anyone else. She sighed. She hated detention more than anything, well maybe not as much as spiders, or silence, or mean people.

Colton sat uncomfortably at the back of the classroom. He knew no one here. He'd seen them around in his classes, but he'd never had the nerve to introduce himself. What he wanted to do was just stew in loathing as he sat in detention. Only a few days in and he was in trouble. Great, just great!

"I uh... punched a kid, gave him a bloody nose, the only reason I didn't get suspended or worse was because the school agreed he was being a jerk, but, y'know, I still punched a kid so they had to do something" Venus shrugged, looking back out the window

Luka was sitting by Elizabeth and Jackson. Luka was workig on homework and smiled at Elibeth. When he finished with homework he got in his bag and grab out his favorite book. Tinking 'this is going to a long day but i hope i can be friends with someone in here.'
The teacher was staring at Luka. "Mr.Goldenbringer I expect a twenty page book report on my desk about that book tomorrow since are you more intrested in it than in math."
"Yes M'am."
'This night is going to hurt. Let's see calculate the number of pages divide by 18 add a attion grabber and a conclusion going for an A+. This is what it means to be the teacher's pet.' Luka smiled to himself.

Aaron grumbled and put his face in his hands. "This is not necessary." he mumbled under his breath. He didn't understand why he was in here. He only had withheld information because someone had apparently stolen his satchel. However, he didn't realise that he had merely left it in his room. He was stuck in detention with nothing to do. He looked at everyone else. He was embarrassed to have to be sitting in detention with Murphy and Steiger of all people! It was an outrage! "Ughbububub....." he said, putting his head on the desk.
"Head up, Mr Sharpe! We do not sleep in detention!" the teacher said.
Aaron lifted his head, rolling his eyes.

"Hilarious," Nicole shot back with an eye roll. "Real original, Novak." She turned to talk to the pink haired boy sitting nearby. "Woah, Aaron, never expected to see you here. What happened?"

Its a blessing to be in your honor, what unfathomable crime has the angel committed to end up in detention with all us future burnouts and inmates?* Venus said dramatically, fake gasping as she put a hand on her cheek while the other clutches her chest.
Admittedly, she was never one for theatrics, but being in the same detention as the student council president? This was a teasing opportunity she couldnt miss. Most of these people she didnt really care about, and usually, she was actually incredibly nice, but only when there was a reason to be. In the world of detention, it was kill or be killed, and she planned on making herself the alpha rebel.
