The capital city where the deities lived is shaped in a giant circle, which is now a tourist trap historical site, is a few miles in radius, with each of the temples in a different cardinal direction, so the deities may not find each other right away.
Air: North- on a hill at the start of a mountain range (Aurienne)
Fire: West- at the beginning of a vast desert (Tiene)
Nature: South- At the entrance to a large forest (Nissi)
Water: East- On the shores of an ocean (Anahita)


As the sun began setting, the stone began cracking, then it became warm, flowing with life again. The security guards outside of each temples were just switching shifts, and most people had began to leave for the day, on a ferry back to modern civilization.

(Sorry I forgot to make this yesterday, i had an orthodontist appointment and just found out I'm getting my braces off Monday, so that's exciting, and though I haven't gotten the chance to hang out with the guy I like much, I got two fish, named Beyonce and Rihanna)

Nissi felt the stone crack, and he fell off of the pedestal onto the ground, rubbing the spot on his head where he hit the ground. "Hello....?" He caleld out

Anahita fell to the ground as she awakened, letting out the end of a shriek she had been holding for about 10,000 years. She stood up quickly, looking around and ready to fight, but saw no one. Her eyes widened as she looked at her hands, then the temple around her. The walls were cracked and chipped, and the lustrous flowing fountains that had been there prior were now dry.

Aurienne felt it as it happened. She could feel the warm air hit her skin as the stone seemed to just dissolve into the air. Her bright blue eyes widened as she dropped to the ground. "Hello?" She called out, but her voice was a whisper. She began to walk. Auri's blue dress flowed around her in the breeze, her golden hair doing the same.

Nissi walked out of the temple, gingerly stepping over the vines. "Where'd my flowers go...?" He whimpered quietly, clutching his toga. "Just... something seems off.."

Anahita took a few nervous steps forwards, calling out with a gentle hello?

A moment went by before a very confused and slightly startled hello? Called back. Anahita rushed forwards, seeing who was here

You! Mortal! What happened? Why was I attacked in my own temple? Anahita demanded to know as she saw a human wearing strange clothes.

Um... who are you? How did you get in here? The startles security guard asked, Anahitas face was filled with terror, rage, and confusion.

Forgot it! I dont have the time for you! She shouted, shoving past the girl, who tried to grab Ana as she stormed by. Anahita looked enraged. She grabbed the girls wrist, shoving her back. How dare you touch me like that, I am Anahita, Goddess of all waters! She shouted, running out of the temple. She looked left, where the god of nature would be, and then right, where Aurienne might be.

Hearing the security guard behind her, she opted to just run straight ahead into town

Nissi heard her, running out to her.
"Anahita?" he shouted, running out. "Is that you?"

Anahita stopped running when he heard Nissis voice. She made a hard turn left, running as fast as she could in her ocean blue dress and sandals. She noticed quickly she was tiring much more easily than she usually would. She skidded to a halt, hiding as she heard voices approaching. Peeking around the corner, she found more mortals in strange outfits

Nissi stepped onto the ground, giving a whimper in pain when his bare feet hit the concrete. He was used to the cool marble or glass.
"Anahita?!" he shouted, confused and scared

Anahita, being a deity, naturally had better hearing than any mortal creature in the world, was able to hear Nissi even from the great distance.
