Welcome to the Lands of Avalon.

You have been training for years, and now you are ready. You intend to find and tame the mythical creatures that surround the ruins of the mystical city of Avalon. Grabbing your backpack, you head out.

Rules
1. Narrator's word is law.
2. No leading on (ex. I walk into a cave. I find a dragon. He loves me and joins me.)
3. If you are killed you will be added to the bottom of the waiting list.
4. Please ping me when you post, and either quote the post you're responding to, or put it in bold.
5. for damage I will be using dice. So, if a creature does 1d8 of damage, you might take as low as 1 damage or as much as 8 damage.
6. Your character must be either human or half-human. If they're half-human their other half must be humanoid, and cannot give them any OP abilities (things like night vision are okay, but things like invulnerability to damage are not). If I feel an ability is OP I may ask you to change it, but feel free to get creative!

The Locations
The Town

After Avalon was destroyed, its citizens founded the town of Liri. Their descendants still live here. You can find the Trader, the Tack store, or just visit the locals

The Meadow

Although once the farmlands of Avalon, the meadow is now wild and overrun with native plants. You could probably find herbivores here.

The Forest

It's said the people of Avalon considered this forest to be one of the most dangerous, and avoided traveling through it if at all possible. Supposedly the most ancient of creatures live here.

The Lake

Some people believe that the water is a strong conduit for magic. Many dangerous aquatic creatures live here.

The Desert

Some people have seen mysterious smoke and flares of fire here.

The Mountain

There are portions of the mountain that are suspended by the land's magic. Many flying creature make their homes in caves within the mountain.

The Ruins

Long ago a magical explosion caused Avalon to be destroyed. No one knows what caused the explosion, but some speculate it might still be there ...

Personality:
Quiet, dark, not outspoken.
While she may appear to be quite pleasant and timid on the outside, it should be noted that the inside of her head is as black as anything can get. She knows things that people her age probably should not know, and because of that, she wishes she can help people as much as possible. It's also because of that knowledge she can appear to be slightly depressed at times, but she always strives for her goal.
Kuroneis is also very ambitious for knowledge and will always try to learn and know more, even if it hurts her. She believes that if she knows and learns more than she can help others better. Right, and she loves to read.
Because she knows so much and wants to know much more, she knows a lot of stuff normal people normally wouldn't. She has an extensive knowledge on poisons, acids, bases, and some other pretty dark things.
Her favourite subject is psychology, and she has studied how to be a therapist to an extent. She's doing this so that she can help those people who have emotional problems.
Backstory (if half-human, describe here):
She's a raven hybrid, circumstances regarding her birth are kind of shrouded in mist. But, regardless, Kuroneis came into the world. It was a normal life for her, going to school, learning to fly properly, but there was always a small problem for her - her eyes. She lived her life being told that her eyes were scary, and she believed them, hiding her eyes. She always keeps her head down so her bangs would cover the pale blue orbs.
She always looked for knowledge about the world around her. When her home wasn't enough for her needs, she left. She wanted to explore, to fly free in the sky, to learn things in her own way on her own accord. She'd decided that as good as books were, sometimes, she needed to go see things with her own eyes rather than just reading a book.
